She nods, and I bury my face into the crook of her throat, inhaling deeply. She grinds back, and I groan as more spurts of cum squeeze out of me.

The mattress dips, and Sylvan’s there, holding a bottle of pale blue liquid to Revea’s lips.

“Are you hungry?” he asks as she drinks.

She nods empathically. His brows dip as he places the bottle down.

She opens her mouth. Wide.

“Syl, I don’t think she’s hungry for food,” Luc murmurs.

“Revea.” Val tuts, sitting on the edge behind us with a bowl of something in his hands. When he tries to put a spoon of it to her lips, she shuts them tightly.

He slips into the nest on his knees. “Come on, trouble. You didn’t have breakfast. You need to eat—”

“You,” she whispers, and although I can’t see her face, I can picture her wicked expression from the sounds of my pack.

And fuck, my knot’s hard again. My pained groan is muffled against her throat.

“After,” rumbles out of Val. He clears his throat. “Eat. Please.”

Thatpleaseis the key. And after a few mouthfuls of food and more gulps of electrolytes, she slowly drifts into an exhausted sleep.

And I’m still locked, with no sign of it softening.

Val stares at her. “This is...”

“…incredible,” Luc finishes, smoothing Revea’s hair back from her face.

“She’ll need more,” Sylvan says. “Now she’s in full heat, she’ll need to come every couple of hours. At least one knot every time. I suggest we start prepping her for anal—”

“Sylvan. Please.” My teeth grit together. “Or else she’ll wake up, and we’ll still be knotted.”

“Still can’t believe our big pack alpha nearly lost his shit.” Luc chuckles softly, careful not to wake Revea.

“Thank fuck you stopped me, all of you,” I murmur.

“That’s what packs do,” Sylvan says in his matter-of-fact tone. “But... Never mind.”

Sylvan never normally stops himself speaking. We all glance at each other.

“What?” Val ends up asking.

Sylvan’s gaze darts around the nest before landing back on the centre of all our thoughts.

“Would it have been so bad?” He shrugs. “Biting her.”

He didn’t need to clarify, but saying those words makes my chest rumble. Even in her sleep, she shifts back, even closer, fingers curling over my arm that traps her to me.

“This feeling, this possessiveness, research says it’s normal during heat. But the biting…” Sylvan’s explanation drifts as his gaze drops to her throat. “That’s… interesting.”

“Syl, biting isn’t a one-time thing—it’s permanent.” Luc turns to look at him. “You know that.”

“I know…” Syl’s gaze locks onto a random corner.

“Sylvan, we only started courting a week ago,” I remind him. “It’s way too soon to be talking about biting.”

He nods, still staring elsewhere. “I know.”
