Chapter 24: Seal the Deal

Nico

By the time, the car pulled up to my house, I was already missing Allie. I knew I wanted our first night together to be somewhere other than down the hall from her sleeping parents though. Gracie would probably sleep through any noise we made and wouldn't know what it was even if she did wake up. Her parents though, I was absolutely certain they would recognize the sounds of moans and the rhythmic pounding of a headboard for exactly what they were. There was no way I was going to try to face her dad across the breakfast table, with him knowing exactly what dirty shit I'd done to his daughter during the night.

So, here I was, alone, horny, and missing the hell out of the woman I needed. God, she had been even better than my fantasies. The memory of her today - almost completely naked, lying under me as I kneeled in front of her, ready to spread her legs, strip her panties off, and lick every drop of cream from her sweet pussy - fuuuck! I needed a cold shower. At this rate, death by blue balls was a real possibility.

I was up bright and early the next morning, not necessarily by choice. I was exhausted. I'd had trouble falling asleep, going over every second of my encounter with Allie. The idea that she loved me, too, that she wanted to be with me, I just couldn't stop my mind from racing with thoughts of the life we would build together. I couldn't fucking wait.

I wanted her and Gracie to move in with me first, then we could plan everything else. Getting married, having more babies. Gracie would make an awesome big sister. Once I finally fell asleep, my dreams were so fucking hot I woke myself up humping the bed at one point. I finally fell back to sleep, just in time for my cell phone to ring.

It was my Nonna, who demanded to know if I had "sealed the deal" with Allie yesterday.

"Huh?" My sleep addled brain couldn't come up with anything more eloquent than that.

"Did you seal the deal, you know, do the deed?" Nonna asked again. "Your mom and I figured you needed some time alone with her. That's why she invited Steve and Colleen to bring the kiddo over yesterday afternoon."

I covered my eyes with my arm and groaned. It was too fucking early for this. In fact, it would always be too fucking early to discuss my sex life with my Nonna. "I'm not giving you details, you nosy old woman, but I do appreciate your meddling yesterday. Allie and I worked everything out and we're together, that's all you need to know."

"Well, halle-fucking-lujah for that," she cackled in delight. "I was beginning to think I was going to have to draw you a map to find your way. So, any chance I'll get another great-grandbaby anytime soon?"

"Whenever Allie's ready, Nonna, but please don't push her. We need to settle in as a family with Gracie first before we add another kid into the mix."

Nonna huffed. "Oh, pooh, when have I ever pushed?"

I rolled my eyes, thankful she couldn't actually see me do it. "When have you ever pushed?Would you like me to make you a list?"

"Basta! That's enough out of you. I'm an old woman and this is the respect I get?" I could hear the laughter in her voice.

I chuckled, "Sorry, vecchia. Ti amo."

"Ti amo, stronzo," she replied, before hanging up on me.

Still chuckling, I texted a quick, "Good morning, Sunshine" to Allie. After not getting a response for several minutes, I figured she was still asleep. I got up and jumped in the shower, then shaved and got dressed before heading downstairs. I needed a cup of coffee before I attempted anything else today.

Once the coffee was ready, I grabbed a banana and headed out to sit by the pool. It was a beautiful morning, and the sun had risen enough that it was peeking over the tops of the trees. Here comes the sun, I thought to myself, then hummed The Beatles' tune as I settled back in the lounge chair.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket, and I fished it out to find a reply from Allie. She'd sent a photo of herself lying in bed, with Gracie snuggled on the pillow next to her. Their heads were pressed together, and they were smiling into the phone.

I wanted to hear her voice, but I didn't want to stop staring at them, so decided to FaceTime her. After a few seconds, she answered, and she and Gracie were still in view.

"Good morning, my loves. You both look very pretty lying there. Your snuggle party looks pretty comfy, too. I'm sorry I'm missing it."

"Mornin' Uncle Nico," Gracie shouted. Allie winced and turned her head toward her daughter.

"Not so loud, Gracie, he can hear you just fine if you talk in a normal voice, OK?"

"OK, Mommy. Uncle Nico, guess what?"

I smiled at her obvious excitement. "I don't know, princess, what?"

"Grandma and Grandpa are takin' me to the Samonica Pier today, and I get to ride the fairy wheel!"

I shot a quick look at Allie, who had a satisfied grin on her face. Gracie and her folks were going to be gone today? Fuck yes! I tried to refocus on Gracie. "You mean you're going to ride the Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica Pier," I asked, trying to be sure I understood.

"Uh-huh, that's what I just said." The 'duh, you moron' was implied in her tone.

"Gracie, why don't you go downstairs and start on breakfast. I can smell the bacon Grandma is cooking. I'll be down in just a minute, OK?" Gracie scrambled out of bed, flinging a "bye, Uncle Nico" on her way out of the bedroom.
