“How would I know what to throw? I don’t even understand what you’re playing.” I chuckled as I nuzzled her neck
The females just giggled as Dawson shook his head.
“Because you spend too much time working and have no pleasure. You’re missing out on a lot.” Dawson said.
“What the fuck is the pleasure in playing cards? We better go and do arm wrestling.” I chuckled, but I’ve been dying to find a reason to crush Dawson.
The fucker couldn’t take his hands off my sister, who was sitting on the couch. He was on the floor, between her legs, and he would lay his head on her or rub his hands on her thighs.
I’d been wanting to throw him out, but I reminded myself that as much as I was Ellie’s brother, the fucker was Ellie’s mate. And just like I was to Nadia, he just couldn’t get enough of his mate.
But I still hope he would tone it down in front of me.
“I’ll pass. I know you have a hidden grudge against me. Besides, Ellie wouldn’t like it if I beat and hurt you.” The fucker chuckled, and I just scoffed at him while resting my chin on Nadia’s shoulder.
“I think it’s time for a break!” Sebastian stretched his arms as he leaned his back against the couch.
“No!” The females said it in unison, and my Gamma just blew air out of his mouth before pulling Jenny for a hug.
“But Riley can make us some good-tasting hot chocolate drinks. If anyone wants one!” Nadia exclaimed happily, and I couldn’t help the smug smirk from forming on my face.
My female was making it sound as if I were the best in the world. And it just added up to everything. Nadia was doing great in my life.
“Me!” Both Ellie and Bella raised their hands in the air excitedly.
Nadia turned her head to look at me, a teasing smile curving on her luscious lips. “I told them how good you are at making hot chocolate, so don’t embarrass me.”
I chuckled and pecked her nose. “You just want me out of here. Help me prepare?”
I asked Nadia, but before she could answer, Bella volunteered. “Can I help you?” She smiled shyly before biting her lips, as if waiting for my rejection.
“Can I help too?” Ellie asked, and my voice got stuck in my throat.
“Of course. I’m sure Riley would love that.” Nadia rose from my lap and urged me to stand up.
The twins got up from the couch, and Dawson was about to stand up too, but I shot him a glare. “Stay there.”
He chuckled and raised his hands in the air. “Yes, sir.”
The twins were already standing beside each other and waiting for me. I stopped in between them and snaked my arms around their shoulders before I guided them toward the kitchen.
I’d never been in such close proximity to females before, but this felt comfortable. They were my sisters, but I felt like a father being sad that they would be leaving too soon.
We walked in silence, but I could hear both their heartbeats. They were nervous. Just like me, they probably had no idea how to start a conversation with me.
Once we reached the kitchen, I pointed to Bella, the water cooker, and to Ellie, where she could pick up the mugs while I took out the other things we needed.
“What are your plans with Dawson?” My question was for Ellie.
“I have to go back to Atlanta. We still have months before the end of the semester, but he said he would follow within three days and stay with us for a couple of weeks.”
“Sounds good.” And then my eyes darted to Bella.
“I have no plans.” She chuckled, her cheeks turning red.
“This is the first time I had something before Bella.” Ellie blurted out, and Bella nodded her head.
My brows furrowed as my gaze shifted back and forth between them. “What do you mean?”
