“Mom, Dad! Ten minutes! Just ten minutes!” I spoke toward Zahra and Leandro before I turned around, and my feet sprang in the direction of the forest line.
“Make it twenty!” I heard Leandro’s voice yelling after us before we vanished into the forest.
And then there was silence. Just the beating of our hearts.
“Where are you taking me?” Her sweet voice filled my senses while her hands were gripping my back, and the sparks coming out of her were fucking amazing, warming up my heart.
