Jumping out of bed, I flipped the light back on, making sure to cover Seven’s crate with a blanket after sneaking a huge rawhide in to keep her occupied. She was doing better in there the past couple of nights and I could only hope she wouldn’t start barking or crying while I was gone. I requested an Uber and started checking myself out in the mirror for one last look.
Lacy black bra and panties—check.
Showstopper red pumps that made my thighs and ass look perfect—check.
The little black number Simon told me I should never take off—check.
A change of clothes, toothbrush, and makeup for the morning—check.
I didn’t even know if I was going to be spending the night, but I needed to be prepared just in case.
Holy hell. I am about to fuck Gavin Hayes.
Is this real life?
Brayden is going to kill me.
The driver messaged me that he was downstairs.Show time.I was a bundle of nerves riding in the backseat of the Honda Civic. The young driver tried to make small talk, but I could barely pay attention to him; the anticipation was just too much.
Me: I’m downstairs.
Gavin: The doorman knows you’re coming. He’ll let you in and swipe you into the elevator.
With shaking knees, I stood in the elevator as I was whisked up to the penthouse Gavin had just moved into.
I took a few deep breaths outside the double doors to PH2 before knocking. The overwhelming feeling of butterflies crashing around in my gut was about to make me hurl. The door flew open and Gavin was wrapping me in his arms before I could even register what was happening.
“Here it is, home sweet home.”
There was nothing in his apartment other than a mattress on the far side of the living room with a TV and an Xbox next to it.
“Charming.” I nudged him with an elbow before leaning down to set my bag against the wall.
“Hey now, brat. The movers are coming in the morning. Planning on staying a while?” Gavin asked while running a gentle hand over my ass.
I giggled nervously, spinning on my heels. “A girl needs to be prepared, my dear.”
Gavin hooked his arm around my waist. “I like that.”
He kissed my cheek, breathing softly into my ear. “I’m really glad you’re here.”
I laced my fingers with his. “So am I, babe.”
He growled a little. “I like the waybabesounds rolling off your lips. Want a tour?” He took me by the hand, showing me the large open space. “We have the kitchen, dining room, living room.” He pointed all around. “Then down the hall I have two bedrooms and bathrooms. Nothing in them yet, as you can see.”
“I like it.” I walked over to the sliding door that led out to a humongous balcony. The cold night air swirled around me as I took in the breathtaking view of the most amazing city in the world.
Joining me out on the balcony, Gavin grabbed me. "I'm hungry," he whispered.
"For what?" I questioned as he kissed my neck.
"For you." Picking me up into his arms, Gavin carried me over to the bed.
“You’re not going to be needing these.” He pulled my heels off, throwing them across the room. The rawness in his kisses and touch was inebriating.
“We don’t have to do anything but lie here all night and watch stupid shit on Netflix.”
“I didn’t get all dressed up to actually Netflix and chill, Gavin.” I grabbed the back of his neck, crushing our lips together. He wasn’t the only one that was hungry.
