Velario laughed. “Technically, that is already possible. The Electors aren’t required to select among themselves.”
“I still want to be there.”
“Fine, but I think we should tell Lisca first. She’ll probably play along and really make Khiran nervous.”
“Agreed.”
Satisfied that she had gotten a few answers, and coaxed a smile out of Velario, Reyn turned back to the banknotes. If she wanted him to get any sleep in the near future, she’d have to help him find every counterfeit as fast as possible—especially since she had other plans that would occupy plenty of his nighttime hours.
