He shakes his head once again. “You are the first person I have met who is afraid of needles. Some find them uncomfortable, but your phobia is real.”
I slump against Daddy’s body. Of course there is no one else who is afraid of needles. I didn’t know anyone on the space station, either.
“There is another Little pet here who has a fear of heights. To the same degree that you are afraid of needles,” Daddy tells me. “Do not be ashamed.”
“It’s kind of hard,” I mumble.
“Can you lie her on her side?” Yamal asks.
My eyes go wide as I stare at him. “No!”
“Pull her knees up to her chest,” Yamal instructs.
Before I know what is happening, Daddy has me on the bed in position.
“Chale!” I yell. “Stop!”
My mouth falls open, and I stare at Daddy, who is right in front of me. Shit.
“What did you just call me?” His voice is cold.
“Sir! I called you Sir!” I say, panicked.
“Yamal, I need five minutes.” He keeps hold of me as he speaks to Yamal.
“Wait! Don’t go, Yamal!” I scream. “Don’t leave me here!”
