Anything you need.

Chase pulled back his arm and threw the reaction ball against the wall in front of them. Tobias, who stood a few feet from the wall, anticipated the bounce of the misshapen orb and easily grabbed it out of the air as it bounced toward his feet. The object itself resembled a clump of balls fused together, making its bounces completely unpredictable. It was the perfect tool to recondition Tobias’ reflexes.

After catching it, Tobias passed the ball behind him, and Chase took it out of his hand, trying to ignore the shiver running through him every time their fingers grazed.

Chase didn’t give him any more warnings and immediately launched the ball at the wall again. And again. Over and over.

Tobias caught most of the bounces, but some were physically impossible unless he wanted to dive head-first toward the wall. Not usually recommended for goalie training.

After missing a bounce he maybe could have caught, Tobias grunted in frustration. He ripped off his T-shirt and wiped his face with it. Chase was mesmerized by the bulging of his biceps, his rippling back muscles shining with sweat, the clenching of his thick ass, the tension in his fingers as he ran them through his damp hair. Chase wanted nothing more than to bend him over one of the nearby weight benches to show him exactly what he wanted.

Instead, Tobias stomped toward him and thrust out his hand holding the ball.

“Another round,” Tobias rasped as he took up his previous position in front of Chase, facing away from him and waiting to react to the ball.

Chase cleared his throat and resumed the drill. He would have suggested a break by now, but Tobias kept pushing and pushing, like he wouldn’t be happy until he reached perfection.

After another miss, Tobias shouted in frustration.

Chase didn’t say a word. He walked over to the wallwhere they kept the yoga mats and rolled two of them out on the floor.

“Take off your shoes and get on the mat,” Chase directed.

“Chase, I don’t have time for this. I have to keep work—”

“Take off your shoes and get on the mat,” Chase repeated, this time leveling Tobias with a glare.

Tobias’ mouth slammed shut, and he pulled off his shoes and stood on the mat, huffing the whole time.

Chase couldn’t help the twitch in his dick watching Tobias follow his instructions.

To Chase, there was nothing hotter than a man submitting to him and trusting him with his body. Sure, the adrenaline of it hit him when he led classes, but it was so different one-on-one with one of the most beautiful men he’d ever met in his life. Beautiful and dissatisfied, carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. All Chase wanted to do was help him carry that load, but it would be up to Tobias to let Chase in.

One brick at a time, Chase would scale Tobias’ walls. He was a climber, after all.

“You’re carrying all your tension in your back and neck rather than focusing that energy on the ball. Inhale for four, three, two, one,” Chase instructed, and Tobias followed, his face scrunched with annoyance. “Hold for seven, six, five…”

Chase continued with the breathing exercise before leading Tobias through a simple flow to stretch and release the stress Tobias held onto.

It took everything to stay focused on the movements and not watch Tobias work through them like the Greek god he resembled.

Chase continued talking as they flowed through poses.

“When you played hockey, you were so dialed into the game. Your focus was incredible to watch. You had this bubble of armor around you no one could get past. Now inhale and move into upward dog.”

Why didn’t I make him put on his shirt first?

“Feel the stretch in your back. When I watched you play, I could tell you were in your happy place. In interviews, on the bench, anywhere the camera caught you when you weren’t in net, you seemed lost. Like you were desperate to get back in front of it. And then once you were there? It’s like everything in you settled. Like you were at peace. You’re missing that peace now. You’re fighting against it rather than accepting it. Like you’re stuck in your head and you need to get out. Lower your chest to the mat. Now, rise onto your knees and move into puppy dog pose.”

Tobias remained quiet the entire time Chase led him, and the moment Chase called out the pose, he wished he could call it back, because holy fucking shit, Tobias inpuppy dog pose had his restraint hanging on by a thread.

On his knees, Tobias’ pushed his chest to the ground and straightened his arms out in front of him, his hands flat on the mat. His delectable ass high in the air begging for attention.

Chase gulped, and decided he needed to distract himself. Maybe it was a good time to try some inversion poses. He busied himself by standing up and walking over to the accessories shelves to grab two ab mats while he told Tobias to shift out of the seductive pose.

“Move into child’s pose, then when you’re comfortable, sit up and rest your weight on your heels. Have you ever tried inversion poses? Like headstands?”

“Not for yoga. I’ve done handstand pushups against a wall though,” Tobias answered.
