My hands were next to his head, and he turned enough to run his tongue along the fae ink covering my inner arm.

Goddess, help me.

I felt it everywhere.

“Move,” he whispered, placing a kiss on my wrist before settling back onto the pillow. “Now, Talis.”

So, I did.

I fucked him slow and hard, sliding my hands under his shoulders and holding him in place. He hissed as my claws pierced the skin, hips bucking against me, but I didn’t sheathe them or retract my fangs. Knowing what I was about to do made keeping my half-shift easy.

He’d asked me to give in to my wilder side, and so I did. Trusting him to tell me if it became too much.

It started as an ache in my jaw.

A dull throb in time with the beat of my heart.

I dropped my head to his shoulder, pace picking up as a tingle of urgency started at the base of my spine.

Axel moaned, meeting me with every thrust, legs wrapping around my back. His scent surrounded me, mixed with the headiness of arousal and sex, and I felt my grip on my wolf faltering.

I wanted to bite him.

Wanted to sink my teeth into him and leave my mark liked he’d left his on me.

I needed this, and Axel had known it too.

“I love you so fucking much,” I whispered, the words curling around my teeth, but I knew he’d understood.

He cupped my jaw, grip firm as he forced me to look at him. “I love you too. Take what you need, Talis.” Once again he bared his throat, eyes heavy-lidded, lip caught between his teeth before he said the words that pushed me over the edge. “Bite me.”

I let go of the last semblance of control.

With a roar, I slammed into him again and again, everything building to a climax inside me. Pleasure, hot and heavy, coursed through my veins. The ache in my jaw verged on a pain so sweet it was almost too much, and I couldn’t hold back any longer.

I fucked into him once, twice, and on the third thrust, I bit down hard at the base of his throat. My whole body tensed as I came with the taste of him on my tongue.

Axel cried out, fae curses falling from his mouth as he clenched around me, and my world went white.

“Hey.”Axel’s voice, soft and scratchy, brought me back to my senses.

I lifted my head and smiled down at him. “Hey.”

His smile bloomed, breathtaking in the way it lit up his eyes too. “There you are.” It might be the light, but his violet eyes seemed to sparkle as he looked back at me. Amusement mixed with the love I’d never get tired of seeing there. “Are you okay? You went quiet there for a second.”

I grinned down at him, wanting to wrap him in my arms and never ever let him go because words couldn’t describe how amazing I felt in that moment.

But I wanted to try.

My gaze dropped to his throat, to the teeth marks I’d left there, possessiveness tightening in my chest. I dipped my head and kissed it, couldn’t help myself.

Mine.

“Yes,” Axel whispered. “Yours.”

He shuddered beneath me as I kissed it again and again, not wanting to ever stop. But I didn’t want to make him any sorer than he already was.

“You heard me?” I said, propping myself up on my elbows.
