“Havoc,” Fang called. Never one for being subtle, his voice carried even over the music that was pounding out of the open windows. “Everything ok?”

Stuffing my hands into my pockets, I sauntered over to them. My eyebrows pinched together. Something was obviously up. Either that or they suddenly didn’t trust me.

“Yeah.” I searched both of their faces in the orange glow of whatever it was they were smoking. “It was easy…no drama.” I shrugged, watching both of their faces shut down. Whatever they were here to talk about, it wasn’t the drop I had just done. “What’s up…?”

Cyber ground out the glowing ember under his boot. His eyes never left my face. “Want to explain why the English chick is here wearing your colours?”

I should have known it was something to do with Darcie. “She is, huh?” I couldn’t help the smile that was threatening to take over my face. When I had left, I hadn’t been sure she would wear it. It made me impossibly happy that she had. I couldn’t wait to see her in it.

Maybe fuck her in it.

If she wanted to, of course. She had been more than willing earlier, so I didn’t think it was going to be a problem tonight.

“You didn’t know?”

I shrugged. “Of course I knew. I asked her to wear it.”

Fang sent a startled look at Cyber who shrugged. “You asked her to wear….”

“Until I get one made for her.”

“You want her to wear your…” Cyber was spluttering now. My frown deepened. Why was that so surprising? Darcie was a beautiful girl.

“Yeah.”

“And she agreed?” Cyber sounded genuinely surprised.

Asshole.

“Of course, she agreed. When I explained how it gives her certain privileges…”

Fang cut me off. “Does she even know what wearing it means, Havoc? Have you explained to her that she’s your woman, your fucking property? Or does she think this is you trying to keep her safe?”

I stared at him. “I’ll explain it to her; she will realise it’s the best course of action.” Maybe I should have explained it to her before I left. But honestly, there just hadn’t been time.

“And when she wants to go home? Are you ok giving her up? With the club thinking your old lady did a runner?”

Gritting my teeth, I studied them. “I can make her want to stay.”

“You want her to stay? Jesus Havoc, are you falling for your brother’s fiancée?”

It took everything I had not to smash my fist into Cyber’s smug face.

“Don’t be stupid. And she’s not my brother’s anything.” Frowning, I walked away, heading towards the party and Darcie.

She wasn’t my brother’s. She was mine.

“Hey, baby.” Easily I slid in behind her, my arms encircling her waist. “Missed me?”

She stiffened for just a second before relaxing. It made me wonder how many guys had tried to make a move on her, even with my name across her breast. Anyone who had would have me to deal with.

“Yeah.” Her voice was girly and breathless.

She was so fucking sweet. Every single part of her. And even her voice made me hard.

How an asshole like my brother had ever managed to snag a girl like her was anyone’s guess, but one thing was for certain, that chapter of her life was over now. No matter what Cyber and Fang thought of my sudden infatuation with the girl, I wanted her to stay. To keep her. I wasn’t sure when it had happened or even why, but it was the truth. I just hadn’t realised it until she had mentioned sleeping with the Judge.
