“I think…”
“Darcie, get your ass upstairs and do as you are fucking told for once.”
Turning on my heel, I jogged out of the room.
Who the hell did he think he was ordering me around?. Even if our relationship had been real, he wouldn’t have the right. But I couldn’t argue with him, not in front of his guest. All I could do was go as ordered and act like the dutiful old lady.
One thing was for sure, though. Havoc wasn’t the knight in shining armour I had thought he was.
In fact, he was a bit of an asshole.

I had just sunk into a hot bubble bath, albeit minus bubbles, when the door opened.
Screeching, I slipped further down in the bath, my arms closed over my chest.
“Do you mind?” Outraged, I tried to sink down further. Not that the water would hide anything from his eyes.
Havoc paused, leaning heavily against the door as he took his time taking me in. Finally, a smile tilted up the corners of his mouth. “No, I don’t mind.”
Asshole.
“Have you ever heard of knocking?”
He cocked his head to the side. “You want me to knock on my own bathroom door?”
“When I’m in it, yes.” I sounded strangled. It had nothing to do with anger though and everything to do with the heat in his eyes. Havoc stared at me like I was something he wanted to take a bite out of. And it was making me feel flustered. Lucas had never looked at me like that. Not once in our whole relationship.
“No.”
“What do you mean no?” Flustered, I sat up right, my arms gesturing wildly. Too late, I realised my mistake. Havoc made a choking sound in the back of his throat, his footsteps heavy as he rushed towards the bath.
“Shit.” He fell to his knees, instantly soaking his T-shirt as he pulled me up and into his arms. My bare breasts squashed against his chest.
Butterflies erupted in my stomach, and my arms went around his neck instantly.
“What the fuck were you thinking being with my brother?” His voice was husky. “You’re too beautiful for the likes of him.” His face was troubled. There was something he wanted to say.
It hit me then. Havoc was jealous. Jealous that I had given myself freely to his brother when all he got was make-believe.
“Too sweet...” He moaned again as his lips came down on my jaw. “Fuck me, are you sweet.” He nibbled a long line down my throat, and I was powerless to stop him. I didn’t even want to. I let my head fall back.
This wasn’t make-believe. This was two people coming together because they were attracted to each other. There was no denying it anymore.
But then hadn’t I been attracted to him since that very first moment?
“Hold on to me.”His voice took me by surprise, but I did as I was told. Tightening my arms around his neck, I didn’t make a sound as he lifted me easily. Moving without thinking, I wrapped my legs around his waist. The toughness of his jeans rubbing against my mound was like the most exquisite torture.
“Darcie.” Havoc searched my face. “If…” He shook his head. He was about to ask if this was real. And I wanted to reassure him that it was. This wasn’t about keeping me safe or a bet. This was about lust. Pure and simple.
“Oh fuck it, I don’t care anymore.”
He did care, though. As crazy as that sounded, he did care. This hard ass biker who had only known me a few days cared what happened to me.
Easily, he carried me back towards his room. And my lips didn’t once leave his stubbled jaw. I didn’t even break away when Judge’s laughter boomed up the stairs. It didn’t matter that he was seeing me naked. All that mattered was that Havoc got me behind closed doors and kissed me.
