Page 39 of Wanting Him Always

I let go, chose to set aside all my troubles and fears. Focusing solely on Sophie, the easy taking away the pressure opened so many possibilities.

The incredible way she’s looking at me now makes me feel like it’s only her and I. Like we are perfect together.

“Finn.” Hearing her whisper my name hits me deep. This woman, she’s never had it good with men. Never been treated as she should have been, always questioning her choices, wondering if she’s done something wrong. But the truth is, Sophie, she is amazing. She triggers so many feelings within me that I’ll admit are a bit overwhelming. A rolling wave of comfort, like right here is where I want to spend every day and night.Just her and I, loving one another, forgetting about the world outside, getting lost in each other.

“Give it to me,” I coax her, whispering next to her ear as she arches her back. Her hard nipples brush against my chest, her body reacting as she squeezes me tight. “Let me feel you, baby.”

Her hips shift as if she is chasing her release.

I find it hard to hold out, feeling her move her hips with mine. My head feels clouded by the pleasure each shift creates.

“Damn,” I growl, biting her lip and giving it a little tug. “You feel so good Sophie, so fucking good.” My words hold a harsh tone but I’m fighting my own release, wanting nothing more than to finish together.

When I feel her start to tremble I know she’s there as I pick up my movements pushing inside of her harder and faster. A hiss escapes her lips, before she fists the sheets at her side and we both fall, hard.

Panted breaths fill the room, as we both spin out of control.

And that is the moment I know without a doubt Sophie Powell is my game changer and there is no going back.

With our fingerslinked together I lead her up the steps to the front porch. There’s a wraparound porch that even has a porch swing off to the left. I watch her take it all in. The countrycharm, the way the home has been beautifully kept over the years.

“It’s like a house you’d find in some home and garden magazine,” she whispers and I chuckle. Sophie is in complete awe and watching her take it all in is the best part.

“Are the owners home?”

“No, they went out of town to visit their grandbaby and let me have a key.”

She looks over at me and gapes, like the idea of that is completely insane.

“Family friends,” I say in explanation. “I practically grew up in this house. My parents were very close with the owners. I took their daughter to a few dances.”

“An ex-girlfriend,” she adds with a nod and before I can correct her she turns he body to face mine. “Is this razor mouth?”

The serious expression on Sophie’s face makes her comment all the better.

“No,” I laugh, “and she and I were never together. It was more of a take each other so we didn’t have to worry about going with anyone else. Melanie was more like the annoying little sister, we grew up together. Never had a sister of my own, but she was the closest thing. Now her and her husband Tim live in Mobile and her parents are ready to downsize and move closer so they can see the baby more.”

“Awe, that’s sweet,” she adds with a smile. “So is razor teeth still in Hudson?”

“Maybe.” I shrug. She doesn’t need to know that the girl that serves her coffee every morning is the subject of my adolescent nightmares.

“Come on.” She pokes at my side and I grab her hand.

“You want to see the house or not?”

“Fine.” Narrowing her eyes she turns back toward the door. “But you should know that I’m going to do a little investigative work into that whole thing,” Sophie says with a wave of her hand. It won’t take long, after all I did give her the girl’s full name. Though she tends to go by the nickname Charlie, or Char, but if she poked enough she’d figure it out.

Putting the key into the lock, I give it a twist and open the front door. If she thought the front porch was like a storybook, or magazine scene, the inside was going to blow her away.

“Finn.” She stops in the entryway and throws her hands up again making me laugh.

“What?”

“This isn’t for real.” Her eyes are wide with amazement. “I mean honestly no one lives here for real. This place is untouched, like seriously, not even a piece of lint on the floor. This is insane. And it’s gorgeous!”

She isn’t lying.

“Well I think we both know if I lived here the place would look a little different.”
