This startled Sam and he quickly moved away or at least he tried to.
The two women held him tightly.
When they finally released him Sam moved out of their reach.“Don’t you ever do that again!I don’t need Deke and Iceman on my case for hugging their women and I don’t think Melora would like it either,” Sam grumbled under his breath as he shook his head in disgust.
The women smiled at him through their grateful tears.
Deke shook his head as he grinned at him.His father could be such an asshole, then the next minute, he’s a fucking hero.
Chapter Five
Behind that closeddoor, Iceman stepped over to where Banger still laid on the floor.
Banger tried to drag himself backward along the floor while using one hand and his body.
“Where ya going, jackass?”Iceman grabbed his belt and hauled him back.“What the hell is your problem, dirtbag?”Iceman snarled.“You are either ten kinds of stupid or you got a fucking deathwish.”
“I didn’t mean to...”Banger tried to tell him as he gasped in pain.
“Oh, you didn’t mean to?”Iceman asked as his blue eyes were cold as ice.“You took Cassie, then when she got free, you took my woman?So you did all that by accident?”
Banger shook his head.“Robbie set me up and ruined my life.I spent ten years behind bars for a crime I didn’t commit.Then I find that he robbed me as well.He took something sacred that four generations of my family set aside for the next generation.He killed two of my brothers to do it.Those two women are the only ones who might know where he hid it.What the hell did you expect me to do?”
“So you took them by force.What kind of man does that?”Deke came in from the far side of the building, before Iceman could answer that question.He stopped a few feet from Iceman, crossed his arms over his chest and glared down at Banger.
“I know it was bad.But man, I have nothing left now,” Banger explained.“I spent so long imagining getting revenge and getting my family’s savings back.Night and day in that cell, in that hard bunk.I had to find where Robbie stashed it and as far as I knew only one person might have been able to tell me.Then Rodney kidnapped her.I was only gonna talk to her but he fucking took her.”
Deke scoffed, “Yeah, he did but you tied her to a fucking chair.Then your man Rodney hit her.”
Banger scoffed.“Yeah, he hit her but that woman has a mouth on her that doesn’t know when to quit.”
Deke smiled even as his eyes looked hard.“Yes, that’s true, she does have a habit of being mouthy.That’s one of her charms.”
“Charms?”Banger argued.“You can call it whatever you want.But that is not a good quality.”
“So says the asshole who takes women and beats on them.”Deke kicked Banger hard in the side.
