“I think I do, but I’ll check. The bathrooms should be stocked, but if you need anything, let me know.”
“Do you mind if I take a shower? That way I don’t have to do it in the morning.”
“Of course, whatever you need,” Waylynn tells my bold brother. “Let me go grab those toothbrushes, then I’m going to crash if it’s okay with you guys.”
“You don’t have to ask, it’s your house,” I remind her.
“Just so you know, you can do whatever. Watch TV, have a snack. It won’t bother me,” she says as she heads for the stairs.
Oswald gives me a little elbow jab. “See? She wanted us to stay. She’s not even scared.”
“Because we’re with her. If she were here alone, I’m sure it would be different.”
He shrugs. “I guess it doesn’t matter how we get from A to B as long as I get into her cu—” I reach over and shove the back of his head before he can finish that sentence, which makes him chuckle and stumble away from me. “I was just teasing.”
“Sorry about the color.” Waylynn makes a cute little face when she extends one pink and one purple toothbrush.
“What do you mean? Pink is my favorite color.” Oswald proves he’s not as tired as he seemed just a little while ago by continuing to clown Waylynn.
“Oh, then this one is perfect.” She redirects her hand without missing a beat, making sure he gets the pink one.
“He’s just messing with you.” I take the presented toothbrush.
“Okay, I’ll be in my room if you need anything. Make yourselves at home. Night,” she offers and backs toward the stairs again before spinning and darting up.
“She probably heard you,” I mutter through clenched teeth.
“No, no. You don’t think so, do you?” Oz sounds a little worried. I just shrug. I don’t really think she did, but I’m not telling him that so maybe next time he will keep his mouth shut.
MISTAKES
Waylynn
I’m havinga tough time falling asleep, and it has everything to do with the two guys just down the hall. Yesterday was fun, but that could be chalked up to friends hanging out, even if things got a little more familiar when Oswald fell asleep, but tonight was different.
I reach up and touch the bottom of my ear, remembering the feeling of Memphis’ lips there so vividly, my stomach gets butterflies. I pull my hand away abruptly and force my eyes closed again, but I can still hear him.
He wants us to share you.
I would be more than okay with that. It’s not exactly the social norm, but thruples are not unheard of. It would definitely freak my parents out, but I don’t really care what they think as long as it doesn’t result in them trying to put me into an in-patient treatment center again. I’m not doing that. I’m done being locked in rooms with no way out. They don’t even need to know at this point, and it’s not like I’m going to invite them both home with me and introduce them as my boyfriends right now.
My emotions circle from excitement to worry as I think about what being with them could be like until I eventually fall asleep.

When I woke up,the guys were already gone, but there’s evidence of them being here. I don’t even mind tossing the granola wrapper that was left on the counter in the trash, but I know it was Oswald’s.
I spend my morning doing laundry and cleaning up a little before showering and heading over to campus. If I’m going to the game tomorrow, I need to show some team support.
The M Den is huge and right near the stadium. The door chimes when I enter, and then I’m in a sea of maize and blue.
“Let me know if I can help you with anything,” a girl says as she dashes by. I make several laps around the store, looking at everything from the teddy bears and blankets to the tiny little toddler cheer uniforms. The jerseys are all hung up high on the wall with filled racks beneath them, but I don’t see a Gravlin anywhere, so I head over to the counter to ask.
“Excuse me, are these all the jerseys?”
“Is there a certain one you’re looking for? If we don’t have it, I can check one of the other stores,” she continues to fold the sweatshirt she was working on as she looks at me.
“I’m looking for Gravlin, Oswald Gravlin. He’s a freshman,” I tell her, only now realizing they might not have it yet. He mentioned he hasn’t played in a game so far.
