“Oh god! Oh god!” I crash against him and finally come, all the bells and whistles zinging like I got a new high score. Caesar ejaculates at the same time, shooting into my fist. I bury myself to the hilt and spray, filling him while he growls, the entire universe exploding around us.

His hole clenches around my cock, tugging me in as the aftershocks roll through us. I lay against his back, gasping for breath and pouring sweat, my arms wrapped around him.

“Hey softie?”

Caesar grunts. “Yeah?”

“I love you.”

Only a second passes. Then he throws an arm back, patting my side. “Yeah. Love you, Drew.”

CHAPTERTWENTY-FIVE

CAESAR

Drew is fast asleep, sprawled out on my bed in his underwear. It’s about nine o’clock, and I want to just let him sleep.

After the day he’s had, he deserves it.

But the old-timers are out tonight, and I’m not sure when they’ll all be together again. I need to take him to them, just to make sure he really does understand.

“Hey,” I grunt, then sit on the bed beside his sleeping body. “Drew.”

He throws his hand against my face. “Tired.”

“I know.” I rub my thumb across his cheek, still processing the fact that he wants to be mine.

That he is mine.

“There’s something I need to show you.”

That wakes him up, and Drew drags himself out of bed. I give him the green tea I have waiting, the kind he mentioned liking, and rub his shoulders while he wakes up.

“I moved your car into the garage,” I told him, “just so your boxes will be safe. I hope you don’t mind.”

Drew shakes his head lazily. “No, thank you.”

“We can unload it all here tomorrow. I’ll make room.”

Drew turns to face me fully as he sets the tea down. “I didn’t assume—”

“You don’t want to live here?” I bark.

Drew laughs. “Calm down. I didn’t say that. But I figured it out. I talked to a real estate agent, and she’s putting the house on the market for me. The store isn’t worth a lot—we just leased the building—but once I settle the medical bills and pay the employees a good severance, I’ll have enough left to rent a place of my own.” He rubs the back of his head. “At least for a little while.”

I tighten my brow. “Just like that?”

Drew shrugs lightly. “I just figure that I don’t really have anyone back home, but here, I have you and Piper. I’ll work out the rest later.”

I grunt. I’m impressed that he’s going for what he wants and putting faith in himself. He damn well should. And I’m even more impressed with how he took care of things back home.

A lot of people wouldn’t have been quite so generous with their employees, but I know he treated them right.

“You got a lot of integrity, you know that?” I tell him.

Drew smiles happily. “I guess.”

I stand. “And shut your ass up about this getting a place of your own bullshit. You’re staying here with me.”
