The three of us sat at the kitchen table, empty plates in front of us. Russell had cooked the fish perfectly, and the lemony, spicy sauce was rich on my tongue.

Russell leaned forward, then bit down softly on his plump lip. “Everyone finished?”

My cock twitched, like it had been twitching all night. Russell, it turned out, looked fucking amazing in makeup. The color lightened and softened the hard lines of his face, but the fact that he was beaming with a smile really pushed it over the edge.

It was hot. He was playful and quicker to laugh, but still the same sweet guy I’d known as long as I could remember. He fluttered his eyelashes when he looked between us and dragged his tongue across his lips, dancing a line right between shy and flirty. He even let a couple suggestive comments slip by, compliments and questions that sounded like he was coming on to us, then blushed and looked away the second he did.

And damn if I didn’t really, really like that.

“Fucking delicious,” Blake grunted, standing to grab the plates.

I knew Blake felt the same way. Like anytime he was turned on, he couldn’t help but hold me in this intense eye contact and then latch his gaze onto Russell, too. It was practically smoldering, and when he turned between me and Russell, then back again, I could feel his heart beating from across the table.

Blake and I had been stuck for days in this constant erotic charge. It was like we lit a fuse at the club, and since we didn’t get to explode all over each other, it just kept burning.

Something like that should have been hot, honestly, but it just meant Blake and I were avoiding each other, which sucked. We hadn’t acted like that in years, and it was frustrating and just fucking stupid that we were suddenly awkward around each other after all this time.

Except we stopped avoiding each other when Russell was there. He was like an excuse for us to chill out and talk to each other. We couldn’t hide with our best friend’s brother sitting there looking all sexy and happy.

It was fucked up enough that he’d seen us kissing. With Russell flirty on top of it all, the charge between the three of us was almost blazing.

I stood and grabbed a few dishes off the table. “I’ll help.”

Blake was at the sink, and I crossed behind him to hand off the dishes. When he leaned back, his entire body brushed against mine, lighting me up from the bottom.

“Thanks,” he said, his voice rough under his breath.

When I turned, Russell was standing there. My heart jumped again as the three of us stayed close. The energy that was crackling was like thunder and lightning now, and I could see on Russell’s face what he was thinking, just as easily I could read it into Blake’s tight, pained expression.

Russell hesitated and bit my tongue, thinking he might be about to say something.

“Thanks again,” he said quickly as he folded his hands together in front of him. “For being nice and complimenting my makeup tonight. It’s, um, kind of a new thing for me, and I appreciate the encouragement.”

Blake’s face softened. “Yeah, of course. You look great, sweetie,” he said.

Russell’s lip bounced when Blake said that, sweetie, and I could see from the way Blake’s wide mouth popped softly open that he hadn’t fully intended to call Russell that. Honestly, it kind of fucked me up, too, but the look on Russell’s face was so damn honest and good, I couldn’t really think about anything else.

“You look fucking amazing,” I agreed with Blake. “Anytime you need a compliment, just let us know.”

The flirtation came out easy, and we all relaxed slightly as we laughed. “I’m sure you both know how hot you are,” Russell said, turning his eyes away.

Blake snorted. “Yeah, you don’t have to flatter Casey.”

I laughed and realized we were all drifting closer together, inching our bodies together. “I don’t mind it, though,” I said.

Russell pursed his pretty lips and pulled his jaw to the side, clearly a little embarrassed but clearly enjoying it, too. “Anyway, I guess I should get to bed,” he finally managed, but didn’t step back an inch.

“Oh, yeah,” Blake grunted softly.

I almost groaned. If left on their own, the two of them would probably politely go to sleep every night in their own beds and never even think of acting on what they actually wanted. Even with all three of us sporting raging boners and with tension ripping through the air, they’d probably just shake hands politely.

But I was there. And whatever this was, it wasn’t just between Blake and Russell. I was feeling the heat off their bodies and breathing and sweating with them both.

My mind flashed back to the bar and the way they’d each talked about families and their futures. I looked at Blake and saw the eager, hungry look in his eyes as he drank Russell in.

Could there be something possible between them? Could Russell actually make Blake happy in a way I never could? Right then, I wanted them both. I wanted to grab them and drag my tongue across their bodies. I could already feel Blake’s fingers, tangled in my hair, and the soft glide of Russell’s pink lips around my cock.
