I reached into the bag, then pulled out a handful of the salt water taffy I had grabbed from the store earlier. “Yeah,” I said, cooing the word under my breath. “I thought I might have a taffy. You know… One, or maybe two.”

I turned, shooting him a furtive glance.

Oh yeah. He knows what’s up.

I lined up the taffy on the table in front of me, humming quietly to myself. Already, that warm, sparking pleasure was spreading across my cheeks, like my body was feeling the sensations that only Dominick could give me.

“Just one to start,” I said, peeling the wrapper off of a cherry taffy, then popping it in my mouth.

“Sure, just one,” Dominick said, dropping his voice. He reached out to take a taffy from the line, and, quick as lightning, I grabbed his hand, stopping him.

I clucked my tongue against the roof of my mouth. “For me,” I said, pretending to scold him. “My treat.”

A growl escaped Dominick’s lips. Like a panther being denied his dinner.

I leaned back against the arm of the couch and stretched my legs toward him. Dominick trailed his hand along my thigh, and my cock started to harden. “You’re going to drive me out of my damn mind,” he said.

“That’s the plan,” I teased, grabbing another taffy. I held it between my fingers while I looked at him, then darted my tongue across my lips.

Fuck.It felt exhilarating to tease him like that. The flames in his gaze grew in intensity as I unwrapped the taffy slowly and held it between my thumb and forefinger. His strong hands tightened into fists as he stared at me, watching me break the rules right in front of his face.

What are you going to do, Dominick?I thought. What do I have coming?

“I don’t think I ever told you about the rest of that night in college,” Dominick said. “When you were leaving the game.”

I popped the taffy into my mouth and bit down into the cotton candy flavor. “What’s the rest of the story?” I asked sweetly.

“I saw you leaving,” he said. “But that didn’t mean I liked it. In fact, it took everything I had in me not to jump to my feet and stop you right there.”

My breath caught in my throat. “Stop me?”

Dominick leaned forward slowly until his body was hovering above mine, then placed his hands on my hips, rubbing just softly. “Stop you,” he said. “Grab you by the shoulders and stop you in your tracks.”

I whimpered, something between a word and a moan coming out of my mouth. Dominick tightened his fingers against my hips in response, and another flash shot across his eyes.

I turned, wiggling in his hold, and grabbed another salt water taffy. Puling the paper from both ends to unwrap it, I let the candy fall into my hand. “You think you can stop me?” I teased.

In a flash, Dominick growled and hitched me forward, pulling me closer to his body. “You think I can’t?”

Without thinking, I rolled sideways and fell to the ground with a sudden explosion of laughter. “Hey,” Dominick said, laughing just as hard as I jumped to my feet and darted away from the couch. He stood up, a few feet across from me, and our eyes caught.

I grinned, then popped the taffy into my mouth.

“Yeah,” I said. “Just try…”

I didn’t know where I thought I was going to run next. The house wasn’t that large, and Dominick already had me practically cornered. And naturally, a guy like him had no trouble getting his hands on me.

He’d always been able to stop me in my tracks.

Dominick jumped forward, and before I could dart to the side, his arms were around my chest. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe as he pulled me to the ground, and when his body landed on top of mine, I realized he was laughing with just as much force. I wiggled under his grip, flipping my body as I tried to pull away, but he just kept one arm wrapped around my chest and the other tight against my waist.

“You ready for this?” he whispered in my ear, nearly groaning the words.

I reached backward and felt his powerful arm. “Oh, I’m ready,” I whispered.

Smack, smack!

Dominick’s hand landed across my cheeks twice in quick succession. With the padding of my pants, it didn’t really hurt, but the force was enough to make my body quiver in his arms and my breath disappear in a soft gasp.

He kept his hand there, stroking my backside. “That feel good?”

With a kick of my legs, I jumped from his embrace, tumbling across the living room carpet and laughing again. “Don’t think I’m that easy,” I teased. “It takes a lot more to—”

Dominick jumped toward me like a quarterback, and the full force of his body carried us both back to the ground. His arms cushioned me as we landed, and it became very clear that he was refraining from using his full strength earlier. Tightly held in his embrace, I could only wiggle against his muscles, sweat dripping down my neck.

“Okay,” I said, breathing fast. “You got me.”
