“Maybe.” There’s that little tug. I should pull myself out of his arms but I’m weak. This pull I can’t describe, it keeps bringing me back. Magnetic. Impossible to stay away from.

I should have dropped him off.

Now I’m here, rain soaked and ruined.

Sawyer watches me a moment before he reaches out. His hands come up around my neck, his thumb skimming along myjaw. I catch his wrist and hold it, searching his diamond eyes. Clear. Bright. Beautiful.

“What do you want, Aiden?”

Freedom.

That’s what I want. It’s what I’m supposed to be chasing.

This, though . . .fuck.

This almost feels better.

“Kiss me.”

I suck in a breath as his forehead brushes mine, his thumb still on my jaw caressing my skin. Soft and sensual. He pulls back slightly, looking into my eyes before his lips press against mine, and his body presses into me, guiding me up against my car.

My clothes are cold and clinging to my body, but his warmth soaks into me. My hands slide down his shoulders to his biceps, squeezing. His skin is cold from the rain, but somehow we’re burning.

The kiss starts off gentle and slow. Tasting. Rain hits my skin as he kisses me slowly, pressing me against my car. My hands remain on his biceps until they slide up and into his hair, pulling a trigger I didn’t know he was barely holding onto.

His fingers curl under my thighs, lifting me onto the hood as he kisses me harder, and my fingers fist his damp hair. His mouth is frantic against mine. I feel the kiss everywhere. His tongue pokes out, swiping the seem of my lips, and I take him greedily.

“Fuck, Aiden,” he breathes against my lips before diving back in. This feeling is insane.

“I feel fucking crazy,” I breathe against his lips, insanity wrapped up in a reckless package. Sawyer deepens the kiss—hard, teeth clashing, tongues battling for space.

The sky cracks above us, but I can barely hear it over the sound of his moans and the roaring in my ears.

His fingers slip on my wet skin.

“Don’t talk to me about crazy,” he whispers against my lips. His breaths are heavy. Wet and desperate. “I’m losing my fucking mind.”

Sawyer’s hand lands on my chest, pushing me back against the hood. Rain falls on me. I should be freezing, but I’m burning alive.

“How private is it out here?” he asks.

“What?”

“How alone are we, Aiden?”

So alone.I shake my head, getting my shit together. “Alone.”

He nods. His hand slides up, fisting my shirt, then slips up my stomach, making me shiver. Rain hammers around us. I’m drenched but too afraid to move. I don’t want this to stop.

“What are you doing?” I follow his line of sight, looking down. He’s taking in my cock—hard, my wet shorts sucked to my skin.

“Damn, Aiden.” Sawyer’s fingers curl into the band of my shorts. “Let’s get in the car. You’re cold.”

I don’t feel like it. My skin is on fire. I lift off the hood and waste no time pulling him behind me, the sound of his laugh light and airy.

“Eager?”

No fucking idea.
