“Come up here and snuggle,” I say, tugging on his hair gently.

He slides up to me, and I nuzzle into him, wrapping my leg around him and pulling our bodies together. He’s not naked for this. He rarely is, but I do like it when I can see his body.

“You need to find out if I can suck your cock,” I say, my forehead nuzzling right under his neck, that place where he almost purrs.

“I do not know who to ask about this.”

“I dunno, we should get your cum tested or something, make sure it’s not toxic so I can return the favor.”

My hand snakes down his chest, right to his groin. He lets me slip a finger through his slit, feeling the tip of his cockhead when I do. It’s wet, leaking, and I wonder why it hasn’t fully emerged yet, but I don’t ask.

I just want to know more about him, and I wonder why we haven’t been given any of the answers. Or perhaps the government just doesn’t know. I know Zane mentioned there being very little testing done on the Vyastil, so maybe they just don’t have the information to give us.

“I think it would be safer for you not to suck.”

“Yeah, but I want to try it. You liked the hand job, right?”

He’s silent for a moment and then hums. “I did.”

I peer up at him, our eyes meeting. I can tell he doesn’t want to discuss his own pleasure anymore, so I let it go. For now. “So seriously, Rath, when are you going to take me back to your place? You said soon, and it’s been forever.”

His ears flutter, and I feel his skin pulse. I’m not sure if he’s unhappy about me pushing the issue.

“Is that a no?”

He still says nothing.

I roll my eyes and try to pull away, but his arms tighten around me.

“It is not safe,” he blurts when he has me against his chest.

“Bullshit. You took me before. You just don’t want me to go again for some reason. You’re not telling me why, and I don’t like it. I don’t like being shut out. It’s too much like growing up and not being allowed to choose what’s right for me.”

His tail wraps around my thigh and tightens. When he offers me nothing else, I sigh loudly.

“Whatever. It’s fine.”

I try to put it out of my mind, but it’s not something I’m going to be able to give up.

“Hello, Cielo,” I say the following day as I make myself a cup of coffee with the new espresso machine Rath got me. I think he’s trying to bribe me into not mentioning traveling to Erethar again.

I appreciate the sentiment, even if I’m still pissed at him for not doing what he promised.

“Want a cup of coffee?” I hold out my mug, and he stares at it.

“Cufffffeeeee,” he says, his teeth bared slightly as he tries to get the word out. My lips twitch slightly as I step toward him, holding my cup out.

“Try it. You might like.”

He sniffs at it, and then his tongue lolls out and flicks through the foam on top. His eyes widen slightly, his ears fluttering.

“Good, right?” I hold out the mug to him, and his long fingers wrap around it, then I turn back to the machine to make another. “That has vanilla, espresso, and milk. I hope you can drink milk.”

I turn to look at him and see a thin ring of foam around his mouth, the mug completely empty.

“Shit. Well, I guess we will find out.”

“Meeeelkk?”
