Once I pulled in my driveway I turned down the music and tried to search for that cell phone again. It was no longer ringing so that made it a little harder to find. Just my luck the ringing started again. Finally, I realized that the sound was coming from the glove box. I used his key to unlock the compartment.
“Mommy, can we go in the house?” Jahrein Junior asked impatiently.
“Hold up a minute. Just let mommy see something right quick.” I told my antsy children.
I pulled out the ringing cell phone. The screen readBabyand there was a picture of this little boy that carried a strong resemblance to my kids. I pressed the talk button and heard, “Jah? Hello. Jahrein? If this is you say something? You got me and your son over here worried and shit.” a female’s voice said. My entire body went cold as I hung up the phone.
I searched through the phone and found all kinds of pictures of this little boyandhis mama. The bitch was none other than the broad that I hit in the eye. Tyra. She was smiling from ear to ear, holding a youngerversion of Jahrein. The little boy looked to be around Jahrae’s age.
I sat frozen stiff. This couldn’t be. Jahrein would never do this to me. This had to be a bad dream.
“Mommy, I’m hungry.” Jhyrah whined.
“Just, just chill out. We’re about to get out.” I stuttered as I stared at the cell phone.
Jahrein had baby on me. This secret phone had to be specifically for his other baby’s mama. He was fucking cousins now? Throughout the phone were pictures and texts from her. Damn near every day she’d send him a wake up text, telling him how much she loved him. Then the other messages consisted of her asking when he was going to come visit hisfamily.
Thinking about him with that girl made me sick to my stomach. He was having unprotected sex with her, and I knew that I was sleeping with him right behind her. I quickly opened the truck’s door and threw up everything that I’d just eaten.
“Ewe, mommy. You’re throwing up.” Jhyrah cringed.
“You’re having another baby, mommy?” Jahrein Junior asked.
I was crying and throwing up all at the same time. There were no words to even describe the pain that I felt at that very moment. My life was over. What was I supposed to do now?
I guess that I had been sitting outside the house for too long, because Jahrein brought his raggedy ass outside. “Why are y’all sitting out here, baby?” he asked me with a smile, until he realized that I was vomiting all over his truck. “What’s wrong?”
I didn’t bother answering him, as I found some napkins in the armrest to wipe my mouth. I was so enraged that I couldn’t find the right words to say. I picked up that cell phone and aimed it at his head. I clocked him dead in the middle of his forehead.
“What the fuck is your problem?” he asked, before he realized what I’d hit him with. He looked down on the ground to see his cell phone.
“Yeah, you ole bitch ass nigga.” I growled, as I jumped out of the truck and on his ass.
“Raven, calm down! The kids! The kids are right here. I can explain.” he yelled.
“Fuck you!” I screamed as I hopped off of him. My mind was racing. I had to get away from him.
I ran inside the house and grabbed my car keys. Then I went inside the garage and got into my Benz. Luckily, Jahrein’s dumb ass had lifted the garage’s door thinking that I was about to park his truck inside. I quickly backed out and Jahrein tried to stand behind my moving vehicle. Did he think that he could actually stop me? I was going to drive smooth the fuck over him.
“Stop! Raven, don’t do this! Just let me talk to you!” he pleaded. I continued to back up. Finally, he wised up when he realized that I had no intentions of stopping and got out of my way. I zoomed on down the street and never looked back.

“You got me feeling like I owe you something cause you was there in times when I had nothing. But you threw it all away with the shady things you do…Baby, please forgive me for what I’m about to say and what I’m about to do.”
“Raven, telephone.” Joy told me.
“Who is it?” I asked. She gave me that look and I knew what time it was. “I’m busy.”
“She can’t come to the phone right now.” she spoke into the phone “Oh, okay. I’ll let her know.” she nodded.
I continued watching television.
“Raven, that was yourhusband. He said to please call him. It’s urgent.”
“I don’t have ahusband.” I let her know.
