That crazy bitch had my seven month old in her arms, and was holding him like a rag doll. In her other hand was a knife that she held to Jhyrah’s neck. It broke my heart to see the expression on my daughter’s face. She was horrified.

“Bitch, let my kids go.” I tried to remain in control, as I pointed the gun at her. I was about to break down as I witnessed her holding a knife to my five year old daughter’s throat.

“No, bitch you put that gun down!” she shouted.

“Junior, y’all come to me.” Red said to my oldest son. Jahrein Jr., Jahrae, and Jahreiah all ran over to their grandmother. Red quickly took them out of harm's way. I kept my gun pointed at Tyra, but couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger, while she held my baby in her arms.

I could hear several footsteps coming up the stairs. I didn’t know if it was the police or more intruders, but I wasn’t about to take my eyes off of that psycho bitch. I could hear male voices.

After listening closely I felt like one voice sounded like Jah’s! I was praying that my assumption was correct.

“Raven?” I heard a voice say.

“Yeah?” I answered, never taking my eyes or my gun off of Tyra.

He walked inside of the room before shouting. “What the fuck! This hoe don lost her mind!” Jahrein roared in disbelief. “Tyra, let my kids go!” he yelled as he pointed his .357 at her. “I don’t want to kill you. Let them go.”

“Fuck these kids! These bastards are the only people that you care about! What about our son? Why don’t you love us?!” Tyra roared like a madwoman, as she pressed the knife deeper into my baby’s skin. She had a crazed look in her eyes as sweat dripped down her face. She had to be high out of her mind.

“Bitch, let my babies go!” I screamed as the tears flooded my eyes.

“Let them go, huh? Y’all want me to let your kids go? You see how I’m holding your children’s lives in my hands? Just like that, I can take them away from you. The same way you took my son’s daddy away.”

“Tyra, I’ma tell your bitch ass one more time. Let my kids go, main!”

“Why don’t you love me, Jahrein? Huh? Tell me! What does this bitch have that I don’t?”

“You wouldn’t know even if I told you.” He seethed.

“Fuck you!!!” Tyra bellowed.

Blow!

Jahrein fired his gun and it hit Tyra dead between the eyes. I quickly went over and grabbed my baby and Jhyrah as her body hit the floor. All I could think about was getting them out of that room. They didn’t need to see that. So, I wasted no time in scurrying down the stairs.

In the living room was Tony, Jared, Joe, Steve, Skeet, Ray-Ray, Jalero, Tammy, and the rest of the kids.

“I wanna go home, mommy!” Jhyrah cried at the top her lungs.

“Shhh. Baby, it’s okay. That bad lady can’t hurt you.” I tried to calm her down.

I tried to check Jahlero for any damage. She’d scratched his neck with her nails, but other than that he was fine. I held him tightly in my arms as he wailed, while looking at Jhyrah’s neck. She too had scratches, but not real wounds. I was so muthafuckin mad that I was tempted to go back and place another bullet in that crazy bitch.

All of the children in the house were crying hysterically. Hell, if I were them I would have been horrified too. Thanks to Tyra they knew that the boogey man was alive and real. I had to pray that they weren’t permanently damaged. I had trouble myself digestingthat there were three dead bodies, lying around in the house.

All the bullshit that had just taken place ran through my mind. Those people had so much hatred for me that they were willing to take away my life. It was funny, because I never really cared that much about them. Nothing that they could’ve done would have made me take things this far. They just weren’t that important or even worth the trouble.

I had lived through a real life horror story. It all got me to thinking about the body all alone in the basement. What if that crazy ass nigga was still alive?

“Check the basement!” I blurted out.

“What?” Ray-Ray asked.

“Check and see if Khalil is really dead. I stabbed him while we were down in the basement.”

All the men standing around in the room had these stupid looks on their faces. “What?” I asked confused.

Jared spoke up. “That nigga was handled an hour ago.”
