“Follow me.” Rhea tossed her hair over one shoulder as she blinked out of existence.
Cronus slipped his hand in mine. “Okeanos,” he said, “stay behind and let the last few know where we’re going.”
At the Titan’s nod, Cronus reached out for Narida, and then he did his move between time and space thing. This blink took longer than normal, and when we landed on the forest floor, I recognized the world. It was the place Hepatitis had gone hunting.
The Titans were just gathering together when Thanatos blinked into existence, looking like he’d never been hurt at all. Running toward him, I threw my arms around the god, so relieved he was okay.
“You’re fully healed!” I said, checking him over. He’d looked near death when Zeus had left him on his office floor bleeding out. “I’ve been worried about you.”
I'd never forget how he helped me get Cronus back, lending us power, and the coins that cost him as well. I would be forever indebted to the god of death.
Thanatos nodded. “Panacea fixed me up enough that my natural healing kicked in. Now I’m here to offer my help. Destroying Zeus is high on my list of priorities.”
“What do you have in mind?” Cronus stepped up to give him one of those bro-pats on the back.
Thanatos grinned. “I have some demons that need slaying.”
Narida nodded. “That would make a good trial in the game. Trial one, hand on hand duels. Trial two, demon slaying, and for the final…” She seemed to think.
“Treasure hunt. For a special jewel.” Cronus reached into his pocket and produced a red ruby the size of a grape.

“That will do. Team with the most points wins.” Narida snatched the ruby and then went off into the forest seemingly to hide it. I tried to watch where she went and maybe cheat a little so I could give Cronus some direction, but she disappeared out of thin air as she walked…

“I’ll send some Titans for the demons. Thank you, Thanatos, for everything.” Cronus looked down at me.
Thanatos waved him off. “Thanks for dealing with the Erynomus. That was a pain in my ass.”
“Anytime,” Cronus said, and I really wanted to dick punch him.
“No. Not anytime. You’re not going back to the underworld, boyfriend. Not on my watch.”
His face softened and I wasn’t sure if it was the “boyfriend” or the fact that I cared, but either way, he’d better get used to it.
“Alright, I’ll get those demons for you,” Thanatos said, interrupting our loved-up stare.
The god of death disappeared, taking about six Titans with him.
Okay, so we survived fighting demons in the underworld just to have to fight them up here? Luckily, I wasn’t going to do any of the fighting. I was going to sit in my chair with my pompoms and cheer Cronus on.
Cronus looked down at me. “Can I drop you at the Crab Shack? Pick you up when this is all over?”
I crossed my arms and glared at him. “Look, I could really go for another serving of those fries, and the carrot cake I didn’t get, but that’s totally not the point. If you zap me to anywhere that’s not here, you’ll be sleeping on the couch for the rest of your life.”
He sighed. “If anything happened to you…”
I rubbed my belly and the baby kicked. “I’ll be fine. I’ve got our superpower baby Titan on board, remember?”
He sighed. “Alright, but stay out of the way when it starts.”
I nodded.

Multiple popping noises sounded behind me and I spun to see Zeus, Apollo, Athena, and others zapping into the space. Hyperion was there as well—he’d done as he said, getting the gods here.
