She fantasized since childhood about the beauty of that mysterious thing called alchemy, the hope that it could make her world better, more desirable,more.She dared to picture herself in Diamond’s shoes, what it might be like to have her kind of power, all the incredible things she could do.

She stares out the window. In her mind, she can hear a ticking clock. If she is going to move against Grand Central, she needs to do it fast. Every passing second amplifies the risk that they will find out her loyalties have shifted. That they will move against her.
That they will use Ari against her.

In 1989, the Walt Disney Company joined forces with the Alexander Reed Foundation to launch a two-year, museum-quality restoration of the El Capitan. After premiering many feature films here, the property was donated to the city as a Historic-Cultural Monument.
