Great. Now his cock wanted in on the action.
No. He was just going to lie here, quiet as a mouse, silently giving worship to the eighth greatest wonder of the world.
Beep!
Gavin and the man beneath him both startled.
Marcus let out a groan as he extended his arm and picked up his cell phone from the bedside table.
Fucking technology.
“Ello?” Marcus whispered, still half asleep and unaware of the worshipper currently attached to his chest.
Gavin lay there, trying not to move or make himself known. He wondered how long he could lie there before the grisly giant beneath him realized that something needy was attached to his body.
It didn’t take long.
He felt the body beneath him shift as Marcus lifted his head to see what was clinging to him.
“What? Come again?” Marcus asked, his voice becoming clearer the more awake he became. “Oh, really. He said that?”
Gavin grimaced when a big, meaty paw landed on his shoulder, pulling him away from his warm, comfortable pillow.
Swinging his legs over the bed, Marcus stood, then turned as if looking for something on the floor.
Smiling, Gavin wondered how long it would take for Marcus to realize that the reason he couldn’t find whatever it was he was looking for was probably because his massive monster dick boner was most likely blocking his view.
Marcus glanced down, finally noticing the solid rod in his underwear. He adjusted himself, gripping it firmly as he moved it to the side. Then he looked up at Gavin, who was staring at him like a hungry gazelle.
“Seems like we’re going to have to teach this punk a lesson,” Marcus said into the phone. He bent down and retrieved his jeans before glancing over at Gavin once more. He didn’t make any effort at covering up his morning wood. “Tell Nikolai to bring his babies and pick me up in thirty.”
He ended the call, then tossed his phone onto the bed.
“Blade and Ace are going to babysit you today at the bar. I have… things to do,” Marcus said, carrying his jeans as he headed toward his en suite bathroom.
Gavin let out a breath when he heard the shower start running.
He lay there, staring up at the ceiling, wishing he was in that shower, soaping up every inch of that man’s gorgeous body.
Fuck. He needed a good dicking.
“So how are things going?” Ace asked as he passed Gavin a cosmopolitan and took a seat on the other side of the booth.
He took a sip of his chocolate martini, then rolled his eyes as he appeared to have a mouth-gasm.
“God, Alexis makes the most amazing drinks.”
Gavin took a sip of his drink and had to agree with his new best friend’s assessment.
“So?” Ace asked again, tapping Gavin on the forearm. “How are things going?”
He wasn’t really sure what to say. He was just getting to know Ace and didn’t exactly want to come across as some pathetic loser who was afraid of his own shadow. But the truth was that he was terrified the Valentine Killer might come after him.
“I don’t know. Fine, I guess.”
Ace didn’t like that answer. He reached across the table and took his hand.
“You know, it’s okay to be low-key freaking out. You survived something traumatic, and no one is expecting you to be alright in the head. Trust me, we all have our fair share of trauma and fucked-up stories. Blade’s father tried to kill him, Nikolai and his boyfriend were sex trafficked, and I’ve been battling abandonment issues since I was three.” Ace let out a chuckle.
