I pull back, forcing my eyes open, refusing to miss a second of her reaction as she feels my cum shoot deep inside her.

A rough moan tears from her throat, and all other surroundings go fuzzy, each of my senses solely focused on her beautiful face, the tremble of her body wrapped around me, greedily taking everything I have to give. The throb of my cock as it offers her every piece of who I am.

There is nothing left of us as individuals, only whatever being we became when fused together.

She releases my hands, and I slide them down her sides, dragging the pads of my fingers along the slick skin of her back, savoring every touch she’ll ever allow me to have. She wraps hers around my neck, aligning her face with mine. Our lips touch, but we’re not kissing, merely catching our heavy breath, calming our pounding hearts.

I don’t know how much time passes like that, and I don’t care. I’ll sit here forever, my body inside hers, her lips on my own, her hands on my skin.

I’ll die of thirst, starve to death, turn to dust right here if it means she’s staying—going with me.

Eventually, she lifts herself , and my body feels incomplete as I slip out of her. Sitting back on my thighs, both of our gazes lockbetween her thighs, watching the slow drip of my cum falling between my spread legs.

“That is…” She sighs.

“So fucking hot,” I rasp. “You’ve never experienced this before? Only with me?”

She lifts her eyes, and they’re sated as she smiles. “This is the first time I’ve ever had sex without a condom.” Her hands slide down my chest. “I’m also still on birth control. You know…in case you were worried about any of that.”

“Honestly, Elena…That’s all an afterthought to me. I would’ve taken any risk to have the reward of fucking you bare like this.”

She laughs softly. “Your therapist would probably tell you that’s not a healthy attachment style.”

I grip her hips, tugging her chest against mine. “I don’t care. Not when it comes to you. We weren’t meant to be healthy.” I brush my mouth against her jaw. “Or sane. We’re each other’s brand of crazy, and I’m fucking tired of living my life with concern for outside forces and how they’ll feel about it.” I kiss her again, harder this time. “Because no matter how bad the consequences, no matter how wrong we’re supposed to feel about it, we end up right back here anyway.”

She nods, lips moving against mine. “I think…maybe…despite it all, this is where we’re meant to be.”

“That’s right, Little Vice,” I rasp.

I lift out of the chair, keeping her in my arms as I walk through my bedroom and into the bathroom, depositing her on the edge of the large tub.

She watches me with amusement as I flip on the faucet and plug the drain before dropping a purple bath bomb into the rising water. Elena kicks her legs over the side of the tub, sliding into the shallow water, and I follow, positioning myself behind her so that her back falls against my chest.

I take a loofah from the edge, dunking it in the water before running it over her shoulders. She sighs as the hot water cascades over her soft skin.

“I’m going to get you clean,” I say gently. “Then, I’m going to take you to bed and fuck you again. This time you’ll be beneath me so I can watch every face you make and every noise that leaves your pretty lips as I hit the right spot.” Her head drops against my shoulder, bright brown eyes fluttering up at me, setting my soul aflame. “I’m going to memorize what you look like when I’m driving you to the edge, so I can repeat it…” I kiss her temple. “Again…and again…” I squeeze out the loofah, watching the soap suds gather and drip down her perfect body. “And again.”

“Hmm.” She sighs contentedly. “Don’t threaten me with a good time.”

I laugh, gazing down at her. She’s so beautiful like this. Fearless and carefree. The wild chaos I fell in love with from the moment I met her. That beauty had been stripped from her, and it’s only now that I realize I’ll cross any line, commit any sin, ruin myself entirely if it means I can be the one to bring her back to life in moments like this.

“FROM EDEN” - HOZIER

“Lele?”My twin’s gentle tone pulls my eyes from the notebook on the counter in front of me, the pen slipping from my fingers as I look at him.

“Hey.”

Everett’s attire spans from business casual to beachgoer when he’s working at the surf shop, or a blue collar-style polo when he’s managing the garage that used to belong to our dad. But today, he’s dressed much nicer than I’ve seen him lately.

A white button-up, sleeves rolled to the elbow, is tucked into a gray pair of trousers. The top two buttons of his shirt are undone, and a simple gold chain sits at his chest.

“Why are you dressed so nicely?” I ask.

“Actually, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about. We have dinner tonight with the mayor and some other small business owners around town.” He rubs the back of his neck like he’s nervous for whatever he’s going to say next. “Do you think you could pick Lou up from school and watch her tonight? Mom and Dad are also attending, and she was supposed to go home with a friend after school, but she just called and told me her friend canceled.”
