“I choose not to,” I say.
“Why not?”
“Because if all goes well, we’ll be playing later tonight, and I want to have a laser-sharp focus. That was our agreement, yes?” He shifts in his seat as lust blooms in his eyes. “If you join me for dinner, then what will I do for you?”
“Play with my ass,” he whispers, leaning toward me across the table.
“Are you hard already, Giovanni?”
“Yes, Sir.”
My boy is voracious. And at his age, it takes so little. I should probably look into getting some Viagra.
“That must be uncomfortable,” I comment.
“A little.”
“How does it make you feel? To be so uncomfortably hard in a public place with only this table concealing your arousal?”
He makes a breathy little noise. “You’re making it worse, Sir.”
“Am I? Would you like to know what I’m thinking about?” He nods, his throat bobbing deliciously as he swallows. “I’m thinking about you on your knees, wrinkling your very fine suit so that you can give me pleasure while I peruse this menu.”
“I would, Sir. If you told me to do it, I would in a heartbeat.”
I smile at his very tempting offer. “What areyouthinking about?”
“I’m thinking about the drive to the restaurant, how loud I was, what Andreas and your security must think of me.”
“What’s that?”
He darts another glance at my men and shrugs. “You know.”
“I pay them well to be discreet. If anyone ever makes you feel uncomfortable—”
“They don’t.”
“I want you to tell me if they do.”
He nods. “I like having your attention, when you look at me like this and when you tell me what to do.”
“I”m going to be telling you what to do later. Are you going to listen?”
“Yes, Sir. Absolutely.”
“Very good.” I make it a point to turn my attention back to the menu, even though I know it by heart already. “We’ll get the veal parmigiana and the chicken piccata, and we can share. How does that sound?”
“Wonderful.”
I smile. “I think so too.”
The server comes shortly thereafter to take our order. While we wait for our food, I ask Giovanni about what he’s been studying recently, something to get both our minds off sex.
“I’ve been doing a deep dive into the achievements of Leonardo da Vinci,” he says. “Did you know he invented the parachute, the helicopter, an armored fighting vehicle, the use of concentrated solar power, a calculator, and a rudimentary theory of plate tectonics?”
“Impressive.”
“Several of his inventions were only conceptual, but his designs are what inspired scientists later on when the technology caught up.”
