Vaguely, I can hear Parker talking either to me or Drew, maybe both. I can't process what he's saying but his tone is soft and sweet, reverent and content. He isn't biting my hand anymore, just pressing gentle kisses against my palm. I can make out the shape and movement of his hand stroking Drew's back as he licks across his mark.
“Close your eyes, Genie,” he purrs, dragging his lips wetly across my knuckles. “Rest until he finishes.”
I do what he says and it feels so good to just let go and give myself over to their care. I can feel Drew now. I can feel his wolf, and I know he can feel mine. It is utterly peaceful for once and I let myself sink into it. Drew tends his mark for a while, but his knot is still planted firmly inside me. I don't mind. It feels like the best thing in the world right now. It feels so good that I lose track of everything in my sea of contentment and the next thing I register are Drew's quietly astounded words.
“Yeah, but I didn't think you were serious. I thought you were just talking shit.”
“I'm dead serious,” Parker says. “I need it. She won't mind.”
“What won't I mind?” I ask, not quite recognizing my own voice because of how rough it is.
“Parker wants to,” he pauses and I can actually feel his awkwardness in the bond we now share. “He wants to greet us as a newly mated pair.”
That means... “He wants to lick us?” I blurt.
“Yes,” Parker answers bluntly.
Am I supposed to care? Is this supposed to bother me? It doesn't. It's going to happen at the mating ceremony with our packs anyway. If Drew is embarrassed or feels strangely about it, he'll have to get over it. This is our way.
Taking a breath, I shove his shoulders, rolling us until I'm draped across him instead of trapped underneath him. I push up off of his chest and walk my hands back until I'm sitting up across him. This new position forces him a little deeper and we both groan, but it's the only position I can get us into that will give Parker access to where we're joined. Then I lean back, bracing myself on his thighs. “It's not very pretty, but it does the job. I don't know how long I can take it, though. Fuck.” It's only been a few seconds, but the pressure is already overwhelming.
“It's fucking hot,” Drew groans, his still-hard cock twitching inside me. “Goddess, I can see everything. You're stretched so tight, Genie. Fucking beautiful.”
“Enjoy it now, Alpha,” I groan. “You can't fuck me again for a month. Off limits.”
Parker laughs, but leans across Drew's stomach. He glances up at me once before he draws in a breath, humming in appreciation, then his tongue flicks out, gently licking across my overly sensitive and terribly swollen clit, making me gasp and my hips jerk. He groans at the taste and slides farther, over my puffy lips stretched around Drew's knot. His eyes cut up to mine again and he smirks before pushing just the tip of his tongue inside me, making Drew hiss when he swipes it across his knot. It only lasts a brief moment, but it was enough and he pulls back satisfied and licking his lips.
“There,” he says, wrapping his hand around my wrist and pulling me with him when he lays down next to Drew. “I'm happy now.”
Chapter Thirty-nine
Drew
We wake up just as the sun is rising. I have never slept as soundly as I did last night. Emotional and physical exhaustion played a part, but I think it was sharing a bed with both Genie and Parker that did the heaviest lifting. We shifted around several times throughout the night, each taking a turn being crowded in the middle, and it turns out that we're much more comfortable with Parker between Genie and me than any other combination. I thought Parker and I would be more comfortablewith her safely between us, but Genie's protective instincts are much more at ease on the outside of our little puppy pile. Parker didn't complain, though. He seemed more than content to be cuddled and clung to from both sides.
“How long do you need to pack?” Parker asks Genie as she pulls my shirt over her head.
“Just a few minutes. I didn't bring much. I'll need to change, though.”
“No shower,” I demand, surprising myself more than either of them.
She smirks at me. “Hadn't planned on it.”
“You either,” I say, looking at Parker.
“Wasn't going to,” he says. “We don't have time, anyway.”
We all exchange a look. We haven't discussed leaving, but we all have an unspoken understanding that we're getting the hell out of here before anything else happens. I have already decided that I'm going to go out of my way to avoid Jonathan Baker if at all possible, even though I would very much like to make good and fucking sure he sees my mark on Genie.
“What's our plan?” she asks. “After we leave.”
“That all depends on you, baby,” I tell her, pushing my feet into my jeans. “If you want to go back to your pack lands, that's where we'll go. If you want to see how you feel about mine first, that's fine, too. It really is whatever you feel most comfortable with.”
She turns to face me, brows high and hand on her hip.“You don't care if we go back to my pack?”
I shrug. “It's all going to be our pack soon enough. I'm going with you, wherever you want to be.”
She nibbles the corner of her lip. “Some of them might still be a little unhappy with you.”
