“You’re not too sore?” He didn’t want her to feel any pain. Well, not unless it was delivered on purpose and she wanted it.
“No.” She eased away from him to slide onto her hands and knees, dropping her chest to the bed and wiggling her generous ass at him.
His cock, already hard, became like the hardest steel at the sight that was before him. “It’s a good thing that I’m only part Taurean, little cat.” He slid a hand over her ass to push her toward the mattress.
“Only part Taurean? Is that why your eyes are purple?” Krystal turned her head to look at him.
He lay next to her, pulling her into the crook of his arm. “That’s part of it.”
She snuggled into him, tracing lazy circles on his chest. “What’s the rest?”
T’arq felt oddly at ease in a way he never had. Talking about his heritage was not something he did, not even with his mother, but with Krystal. “My mother is Taurean, but my father’s parentage is mixed.” He felt a sense of peace wash over him as he spoke. “My grandmother was from Felicina, and she met my grandfather when she was working on a deep space cargo freighter. They fell in love.”
Krystal’s eyebrows drew together. “Is Felicina that planet where people have tails?”
T’arq grinned. “Yes. And my parents were worried that I would have a tail, like my father did, but all I got were these eyes,” he waved toward his face, “and the fur.”
“You don’t talk about this, do you?” she asked.
“No. It was hard as a child. My mother was disowned by her family for marrying my father, so they moved to the outer planets.”
“That’s awful. That must have been terrible.”
“It wasn’t until they sent me to the Taurean military academy. The outer planets are a melting pot of different races and cultures. If it wasn’t such an unsafe place to live with the mercenary attacks and threat of the Xakul it would be perfect. But my parents wanted more opportunities than what I could get out there, so I worked hard and got a scholarship.”
“Oh, T’arq.” Krystal brushed a hand over his face. “You’ve come so far.”
He shrugged.
She rolled onto her side to face him, resting a hand on his chest. “So, what’s next?”
