Letting Go
Ivy
There I stood in front of the mirror in my apartment, looking at myself and ensuring I was ready to go. I had a shorter day today with Wednesday class and rehearsals, so after Preston walked me back to my apartment, I found time to relax for a bit before getting dressed for my date.
All afternoon, I’d received texts from Lukas and Isaac, both clearly looking forward to tonight’s movie outing with me.
Prepare to be dazzled by cinema, sexiness, and snacks. Dress cute. -Lukas
Hope you like scary movies…-I
Each text made my heart flip.
As the hour approached closer and closer, I paced in my living room, eagerly awaiting their arrival.
As excited as I was to hang out with them, there was also a little nervousness about tonight. The pack and I had discussed trying to cut back on the beta blockers outside the company building. I would be on half a dose for tonight’s date. Hopefully, that would be enough to see me through and back to my apartment.
A soft knock echoed from the door, and I quickly rushed to open it. I was greeted by a very suave-looking Isaac and Lukas, who looked great in his casual attire. Butterflies started their dance in my stomach as delicious scents hit my nose.
“Let’s go, beautiful,” Isaac offered his hand to me, and we made our way out of my building.
Before we settled in the car, Lukas and Isaac paused, staring intently at each other. I curiously watched them as they both pulled their hands out in front, eyes fixated on each other. Next thing I knew, they were playing the most intense game of rock, paper, scissors I’d ever witnessed.
After three rounds, Lukas lost and, in a very disgruntled manner, took the driver’s seat in the front, while Isaac and I slid into the back seat together.
“What was that all about?” I asked as the car pulled onto the road.
“We agreed whoever won gets to sit with you in the back,” Isaac answered as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
“It’s like I’m the chaperone now,” Lukas pouted from behind the steering wheel.
Isaac waved him off as he pressed small kisses on my neck. “You’ll get your turn on the way back.”
“What theater are we going to? The one on 5th?” I asked as I giggled softly at Isaac's ticklish kisses.
“No,” Lukas replied, shaking his head. “There’s actually a theater built just for omega couples and packs out on 33rd. Isaac got us some tickets for a show.”
“An omega theater? What’s different about it?” I asked as Isaac’s hand started to rub my thigh. The heat was rising between us already, and we still had the entire night to get through. I tried to calm myself down and just enjoy Isaac’s touch.
Lukas glared at Isaac through the rearview mirror before replying. “I don’t know. We’ve never been inside one. They’re supposed to offer a bit more privacy between couples and have a lot more ventilation and scent covering. I’ve secretly had this list of all these omega places to visit, should we ever find ours. I’m really curious to check these places out.”
Isaac sighed loudly as he paused kissing me. “Do you mind? All this talking is really distracting…”
I laughed loudly, coyly pushing him away, which only brought him back quicker. After five more minutes on the road, we arrived at the theater, which was tucked down an alleyway off the main road.
As we approached the building, I turned to Lukas. “What movie are we watching?”
Isaac leaned forward, holding the door open for me as he grinned wickedly. “Killer Clown Prince.”
“Seriously? I thought you were joking about the scary movie!” I playfully tried to paw at him as we approached the check-in counter.
The bored attendant looked at our tickets before gesturing down the hall. “Looks like you’re in booth twelve in the third theater. Enjoy the show.”
We rushed down the hallway to our theater and entered just as the lights were dimming.
The omega theater looked nothing like a regular one. Instead of rows of seats, there were about twelve individual theater boxes, complete with single-sided mirrors. After pausing for a moment to take in the room, we found our box.
Inside, there were sleek, leather couches and bean bags along with side tables and soft lights. In the back, there were options for enhanced ventilation.
