“Time to improvise,” I said. I wrapped my hands under her bare bottom and stood up, carrying her over to her mirror station. Sitting backwards in the chair, I let her face the mirror for her to start doing her makeup.

“Somehow, this fits us,” she laughed, reaching for her makeup brush.

I sighed against her body, still feeling the slight after effects of my knot inside her. Anything for this woman.

Show number five was over, and our omega couple was successful once again, I thought as I held the curtains open for Preston and Ivy to take another personal bow in front of a standing ovation. Ivy’s scent was more and more noticeable now, and my focus narrowed more on her anytime she was close by. She had to be drawing near her heat. What else could it be?

They reappeared behind the curtain, laughing and holding hands.

“Another beautiful show, you two,” I said as they approached me. As soon as Ivy came close enough, I pulled her into a hug and buried my nose into her neck, inhaling deeply.

“Dem!” she gasped quietly in my ear.

Shocked by my own reaction, I let her go. “I’m sorry, you just smell so good today.”

“You all seem to be smelling me a lot more lately, and honestly, it’s starting to drive me crazy, too.” She looked around at the few dancers who were still onstage, watching us.

“They’ve figured it out by now,” I laughed, grabbing her hand and leading them back downstairs.

As I opened the pack's dressing room door, Ivy’s sweet scent combined with the smells of sex hit me hard. I blinked, unable to hold back a glare at Preston as he smugly smiledat me. There was no way I could stay in this room without bothering Ivy.

“Well, we only have an hour in between shows, so I’ll let you two rest. One more to go!” I waved goodbye to a slightly confused Ivy as Preston waved at me.

Time to find an empty room to recenter myself.

All of the company dancers cheered as the curtain came down to end the final show for this production. Once again, Preston and I took a personal bow to a roaring audience before returning behind the curtains to join the celebrations.

So many happy faces were cheering for us as well now. I’d noticed throughout the week that more and more of the dancers who used to glare at me were starting to soften their attitudes.

Millie came up and gave me a big hug, followed by a few of the corps members I’d made good friends with.

“Ivy?”

I turned my head to find Nerissa approaching me. She was standing before me, looking somewhat perplexed and apologetic.

“Hey Nerissa, great shows this weekend. Your act two variation was lovely to watch.” I complimented her, thoughI was a little shocked she was standing here talking to me. Both Preston and Demetrius were silently watching, probably to ensure she’d not be cruel to me.

“Thanks. Of course, your duet was…” She gestured to the front of the house, acknowledging the reception we’d received. “I actually just wanted to apologize for being a bit standoffish this whole time. You and Preston were amazing, and I had no right to judge you before even seeing you perform. And I didn’t have anything to do with the rest of them either.” She added, waving behind her at a few of the dancers in the wings. “They’re just so negative about this whole thing, and I’m tired of being around it.”

“You’re more than welcome to hang out with us at the studio,” I smiled at her.

“Thanks, I’d like that. Anyways, have fun celebrating with your pack!” She waved goodbye to me as she left the stage. Preston and Demetrius gave her a small wave as well before smiling back at me.

“Seems the opposition is starting to break,” Preston whispered. I shushed him as I playfully swatted at his stomach.

“Ivy!” Isaac appeared from the side of the stage, holding his arms out for me. He wrapped me in a big hug and nuzzled my neck a bit. “You were so fucking gorgeous this whole weekend,” he said as he planted a big kiss on my lips. Waving at Preston, he added, “I guess you looked good too.”

“Thanks, jackass,” Preston smirked, rolling his eyes.

“Smile!” Lukas clicked a picture of us as he walked up to me. “It’s my turn now, hand her over!” He pulled me away from Isaac’s arms and twirled me around in a hug. “You performed as expected.”
