Logan rolled his eyes but smiled anyway, tugging Tommy closer under the spray until all three of them were squeezed together again.

Steam curled around them, warm and soft.

For a few quiet seconds, nobody moved.

No expectations.

No tension.

Just shared warmth and the strange, comforting realization that fitting together didn’t feel forced anymore.

It felt natural.

Chase realized he’d never had a moment like this with someone he was intimate with, let alone two people at once, where the intimacy wasn’t charged or performative.

It felt domestic in a way that caught him off guard.

He found himself watching Tommy again, the way he relaxed under the water, the way Logan’s hand automatically checked his balance when he shifted.

The instinct to protect him rose naturally, not competitively.

Shared.

The water shut off reluctantly, steam still clinging to the mirrors as they stepped out one at a time.

Tommy went first, wrapping himself in a towel that was slightly too big for him, fabric swallowing his shoulders as he rubbed at his wet hair. Logan followed, already reaching automatically for another towel and draping it over Tommy’s head before drying himself.

When they finished, the three of them stepped out in another brief shuffle of limbs and towels, steam spilling into the hallway as the door opened.

Tommy laughed breathlessly as he dried his hair.

“We definitely need a bigger shower if this becomes a regular thing.”

Logan smirked.

“Planning ahead already?”

Tommy rolled his eyes but didn’t deny it.

Chase leaned against the doorframe, towel slung low at his hips, watching the two of them move around each other in familiar patterns , then realizing he didn’t feel like he was observing from outside anymore.

He felt… included.

The realization settled warmly in his chest.

He spoke before he could overthink it.

Chase watched the exchange quietly.

It wasn’t dramatic affection.

It was practiced.

Instinctive.

The kind built from years of knowing exactly how someone liked to be taken care of.

Something tightened warmly in his chest.
