In that moment, Jacob’s dreams came true.
Deep down, Jacob had hoped that Tane would ask him to move in sooner rather than later. But to actually hear Tane say the words was something else. Tane was everything that Jacob could ever dream of in a man, and on top of winning the championship, this felt like the culmination of a very special year for Jacob.
“Well do I need to get into the shower and beg?” Tane laughed, arching his eyebrow. “Because I will!”
“You silly goose!” Jacob chuckled. “Of course I want to move in with you and be your boy forever. But… you still could come into the shower anyway?”
Jacob looked down at his rapidly growing dick.
And before Jacob knew it, Tane was out of his clothes and pressed up against him as the powerful jet of water blasted down on them.
Some fun in the shower was a great way to mark their first official day of living together, but the frolics wouldn’t end there that day either.
There was the small matter of an Enforcers party to mark Tane officially signing the paperwork for his new contract – and Jacob couldn’t wait to tell Ricki the other great news about him and Tane too…

As Jacob and Tane entered The Rocks together, it was full of familiar and friendly faces. Connor and Alex toasted Tane upon arrival and immediately handed him a new Japanese whiskey that had been imported especially for the big day.
“Two more years,” Alex smiled, touching whiskey glasses with a delighted looking Tane.
“Two more years of saving your ass in defense,” Connor laughed, smiling warmly as he touched his glass with Tane too.
Tane and Jacob chuckled and continued to make their way toward the rear of the bar. They were stopped on their way by Silas and Harry who had closedRoast Daysearly so that they could join in the celebrations.
“Great to see you guys,” Tane said, warmly shaking Silas’s hand.
“This is so exciting,” Tane said to Harry, the two eagerly hugging. “Let’s have a hangout soon, please?”
“One hundred percent yes please!” Harry replied. “We can concoct a new milkshake together to celebrate the Enforcers winning the cup?”
Jacob smiled with glee at Harry’s idea.
But this wasn’t the time to stand around making plans. There was a contract to sign, and a certain member of the Cardini clan to greet…
“Welcome to the men of the hour,” Antonio Cardini said, standing up from his table and holding a fresh contract aloft for Tane to sign. “Make a good enough start next season and we might even think about activating a one year extension to the two years.”
Tane chuckled with laughter.
“Right now, I’m thinking that two years is going to be more than enough,” Tane said, a sense of contentment in his voice. “But I’ll let you know if that changes, Antonio.”
“I’ve no doubt you will,” Antonio replied, exchanging a brief look with Ricki. “And I want to be the first to hear about it.”
Jacob stepped over toward Ricki as Tane and Antonio discussed some newly added details on the contract.
“Come on, you have to tell me what you and Antonio have going on,” Jacob said, his eyes lighting up. “I saw the look that Antonio gave you. Iknowthat look!”
“I can’t say anything here,” Ricki replied, a wicked smile on his face. “But me and Antonio are going on a stakeout after this. I’ll email you with all the details, I promise.”
“Pah!” Jacob protested. “I wanted all the tea now. Still, an email is fine. But don’t hold back on anything. Promise?”
“I promise,” Ricki giggled.
Jacob then turned and watched with immense pride as Tane sat down and signed off on the contract. Never in Jacob’s wildest dreams did he imagine that he would get the opportunity to play with Tane for three seasons.
The whole idea of signing for the Enforcers initially was that Jacob was effectively Tane’s replacement in waiting. And it was perhaps this unspoken truth that had made Jacob act out to begin with as a way of preemptively showing defiance to what he felt could be a hostile response from the senior players.
But as Jacob had learned, the Enforcers spirit was too strong.
