Because if I were being honest, Jase made the list too. I just wasn’t ready to analyze exactly how yet.

Three MonthsLater

The elevator doors slid open, and I stepped out onto my hotel floor behind Agent Pederson. My feet throbbed in my heels, and I was ready to strip off my dress.

I’d flown to LA that morning, checked into my hotel to get ready, and then spent five hours smiling, posing, and networking at the gala. Now, walking down the hallway to my room, all I could think about was what was supposed to be waiting for me inside.

Or rather,whowas waiting for me.

The idea sent a flutter through my stomach.

We stopped at my door where Agent Leeds was waiting, and Agent Pederson turned to me. “Have a good night. Agent Leeds will be out here if you need anything.”

I nodded, then used my keycard to open the door.

Jase and Dylan were stretched out on the couch, and their heads whipped toward me the instant I stepped inside.

Dylan stood first and smiled. “Hey, Princess.”

Jase rose too, his gaze dragging over me in a way that made my panties start to feel wet. “Damn. I’m glad we weren’t invited to the gala.”

I raised a brow. “Why’s that?”

“We’d have caused a scene trying to keep other guys from checking you out. You look gorgeous.”

I laughed. “Gorgeous but exhausted. My feet are killing me.”

They exchanged a look, and from the few times we’d been together, it had become clear that the two of them could communicate without words. It was something I thought was a bit of an unfair advantage.

“Come here and relax.” Dylan nodded toward the couch.

I didn’t pretend to hesitate. I dropped my clutch onto the table and let them guide me down between them.

Jase’s hand slid to my ankle. “Can I?”

“Please,” I breathed.

He slipped off one heel, then the other, and the second he pressed his thumbs into the arch of my foot, I let out an indecent moan.

Jase barked a laugh. “Shit, we’ve barely touched you.”

My cheeks flushed. “Sorry. It just feels good.”

He smirked. “Yeah, but noises like that make us want other things, and right now is all about you.”

Before I could answer, Dylan reached up and gently loosened the pins holding my hair in place. One by one, they fell into his palm until my hair spilled down my back. His fingers slid into the roots, massaging slow circles into my scalp, then moved to the tense spot at the base of my neck.

A shiver rippled through me. “Don’t stop.”

Jase’s hands moved up my calves, working out the knots in my muscles. My eyes drifted shut. Their touch was too much and not enough at once.

Dylan brushed a kiss just below my ear. “Missed you.”

Jase’s hands paused on my thighs. “Every damn day.”
