I glared at him. “I could go off you.”

“You couldn’t.” His tone turned suddenly serious. “I’m it for you, Shadow. Just like you’re it for me.”

This was it. The moment when I told him. It was the moment, right? Shit, how was I meant to know?

Then Dominic’s cock was demanding entry again. This time, I forced myself to relax, following all the advice I’d read online when doing my own research.

“Okay?” His arms were shaking as he held himself still above me.

I nodded. “More.”

Dominic went slow. Far slower than I needed, but I didn’t complain.

No, I just lay there in wonder as Dominic filled me. Breathing through the stretch, my trembling hands white-knuckling his biceps.

Dominic wasinside me.Holy fuck. He bottomed out and I had to remind myself to breathe again. I was so full. This was nothing like when he used his fingers. It was overwhelming. All-consuming.

I didn’t know why I was surprised. That was how everything always was with Dom.

“Ryan, fuck,” Dominic panted, his muscles straining. “Fuck, you’re so tight. Are you sure you’re okay?”

I was about to snap at him to stop asking, but then I caught the worry in his gaze. Instead, I cupped the back of his neck, bringing our lips together. I kissed him until I felt the tension leave him. “Yeah, love. I’m okay.”

He blinked at me. “Love?”

I nibbled at my lip. “Is that okay?”

“Depends,” Dominic said quietly, his dark eyes intense. “Depends on how you mean it. Is it like when I call you ‘baby’? Or when I call you ‘Shadow’?”

I didn’t need to ask him what he meant. Somehow, I knew. Baby was an endearment. Shadow was something more. “Shadow.”

“Thank fuck,” he breathed. “Thankfuck.”

He brought his lips to mine again. For a while, we sank into the oblivion of one another. Our kisses weren’t desperate—why would they be?

We had all the time in the world.

Eventually, Dominic paused long enough to speak. “Can I move?”

I nodded. “Yes. Please.”

Dominic eased back a little before driving forwards. My lips parted on a moan as he brushed over the spot. The one he delighted in torturing. “There. Oh, Dom.Fuck.”

“That’s it, Shadow.” He kissed my jaw as his hips continued to piston slowly. “Let me hear you.”

His words seemed to unlock something in me. Some part of me I’d kept hidden for far too long. Whimpers. Moans. Curses. It was a litany of noise I couldn’t hope to contain.

I didn’t need to.

“You’re so perfect,” Dominic gasped, his hips slamming faster now. “Look how well you take my cock. It’s like you were made for it. Like you were made for me. We were made for each other.”

Made for each other. It was a fanciful thought, but I loved it.

Just as I loved him.

I loved him.

I loved Dominic.
