Liam glanced at her, holding back a laugh. “Might be some safety concerns…”

“Oh, and there wasn’t in the Caribbean?”

“You’re a tough lady. I bet you could land any pervert out on his ass.”

“I know a few perverts, though.”

“Ooh. Me?”

The doors dinged open. Chuckling, Eden followed him out, his keys dangling at his side. “Top of the list, perv.’

They wandered out into the garage, arm-in-arm. “So, where to now?” Liam asked. “Assuming you want to hang out with a pervert.”

“Youaremy favorite one. So, your place?”

He opened the passenger door of his car for her. “Thought you’d never ask.”

Chapter 4

Liam

They didn’t go straight to his building. The moment they pulled out of the Salon’s parking garage, Eden mentioned wanting to pick up a few things from a drug store. That way, she could have some overnight toiletries at Liam’s the way she did at Benson’s.

I remember when I kept toiletries in his bathroom…Liam didn’t mention that as he left his car idling in its parking spot while Eden went inside the store. To be fair, we were practically living together.Liam had kept more than toiletries in Benson’s place. Back then, Liam rented a small studio that was perfectly fine for a few nights a week, but when he wasn’t working, he was usually with Ben or whatever girlfriend they had at the time.I mean, I had a place to take her back to, you know.Since moving back to town, Liam had settled into a “proper” apartment.

He removed his phone from his pocket.“What are you doing tonight?”he texted his ex.

Benson was never known for his punctual communication. So Liam wasn’t surprised when he was distracted by a news app while waiting for Benson to reply… or for Eden to come back to the car.

“Minding my own business.”

Liam rolled his eyes.“If you have no other plans, come over to my place in about half an hour. I’ll send you the address. It’s not too far from you.”

“Why would I do that? What do you want?”

“Don’t worry. I’m not planning on any heart-to-hearts or to spring you with a declaration of how I’ve never fallen out of love with you, stud.”

“What the fuck.”

“You big, bad butch, you.”

“The hell is wrong with you?”

What was wrong with Liam?I’m horny as fucking hell.Between Eden looking like a billion dollars in her tastefully slutty dress that concealedeverythingbut leftnothingto the imagination, and memories of how things used to be… Well, Liam was known for taking risks. Far more than Benson was.

Maybe he wanted to take some risks tonight.

So, I can’t stop thinking about that threesome we had. Sue me.Whenever Liam closed his eyes, he saw two things: him and Benson taking turns with Eden in a high-rise apartment, and Benson’s desperately ravenous look in that little alcove by an unsuspecting parking garage.Just so we’re clear, he kissed me first.

Sure, there were unspoken words and maybe some slapping and punching to get out of their systems –just guy stuff, really –but that could come later. As long as Eden was dating them both, there was… tension.

At least Liam wasn’t afraid to say what kind.

“Fine. Just promise you’re not springing a stupid surprise on me. I’m tired.”

“Wouldn’t dream of it.”

“Don’t try to kiss me.”
