Luckily,therewasnothingleft to do to make this the perfect wedding, so Jasper and I were able to spend a lot of time in bed for the final two days. Our phones did ring one or twice but we quickly dealt with any issues, and went right back to where we were.
I did bang my elbow against his nose at one point during that first night we spent together, but fortunately it was just a tap and did no additional damage.
‘So,’ he said, after we’d had sex twice on the morning of Adele and Marcus’ wedding. ‘Any thoughts as to whether you might like to move to Fairlight Bay? Asking for a friend,’ he winked.
‘I’ve been thinking about that a lot, lately. The place does have a certain charm and parts of it are very appealing.’
‘Is that a yes or a no? I must hurry you because all good things come in threes so we need to have sex once more this morning.’
‘Yes, yes, yes,’ I said, laughing as he pulled me back on top of him.
He stopped what he was doing and looked me in the eye. ‘Yes you’ve thought about it? Or yes you will move? I’m prepared to travel to Kingston upon Thames if you want to stay there, but I’ve come back to help Dad with his business because he’s not getting any younger and Mum’s worried he does too much, so I’ve got to live here.’
‘I understand. And the answer is yes, I think I’ll be moving to Kingston upon Thames. I need to find somewhere to live though.’
That’s perfect. I’ve been looking for somewhere. We could be roomies.’
‘Roomies?’
‘Or we could just move in together as a couple and see how it goes. I think it’s going very well so far.’
‘I do too. And that sounds like a plan I could get on board with.’
‘Excellent. Let’s discuss it in more detail later today. But for now, what was I doing?’ He grinned devilishly. ‘Oh yes. I remember.’ He rolled me over and kissed me as his hands glided over my body, teasing and pleasing and turning me on more than anyone ever had before.
‘Oh, Jasper! Don’t stop. Pl-ease, don’t stop!’
‘I won’t. I promise.’
I do love a man who keeps his promises.
And yes. I was in love with Jasper Lord.
