I grin, feeling like the happiest man alive.

I don’t know what I did to deserve this woman, but I’m gonna make sure I’m present every single day. She’ll never have to wonder if I love her because she’ll already know. The present was flashy, and over the top, but I love that she got a kick out of it. The most important thing is having her by my side.

She stands, moving around the table to hug me, sitting in my lap. I don’t care if people are looking, this is MC territory anyway.

“You sure you wanna live with me?” I ask in between kisses.

“Are you sure you wanna live withme?” she fires back.

“Hm, you are pretty messy.”

“Messy?” she shrieks.

I cup her face, kissing her long and hard. “You make me so happy,” I tell her. “Let’s always be like this.”

“Always. I will love you forever.”

The words hit me right in the chest.

I love this woman, and I’m never gonna let her go. “For as long as I take my last breath,” I say. “It’s our time, baby. It’s our time.”
