“I can call Vincent and Draven and see if we can arrange something for you guys to hang out.”

“Okay. You were telling me all about your businesses. Sorry, for interpreting you.”

“Yes. The not-so-legal things aren't the only way I use to make money. I also have legal ways as well – hotels, hospitals, construction.”

“You built all that?” I ask, my voice quieter now.

“Yes.”

“That’s insane.”

“How much?”

He tilts his head.

“How much what?”

“How much are you actually worth?” I ask.

“Everything included. Legal, illegal… all of it.”

There’s a pause, then he smiles.

“Why do you want to know that?”

I shrug slightly.

“I don’t know. I just…” I grin a little.

“I want to know how rich my boyfriend is.”

That earns a quiet laugh.

“You don’t have to worry about money, Angel,” he says.

“Ever. I can get you anything you want.”

“I know that,” I roll my eyes.

“I’m just curious.”

“I’m not that rich,” he says casually.

“Yeah, right.”

“Roughly…169 billion.”

My brain short-circuits.
