"Yes. Now, we need some bodies to help get this one out of here." Mattias clapped his hands.

"I've got to get Mom and Uncle Carlos back to the house." Fabian stepped over to his crying mother and shocked uncle. "Come on, Mom. Don’t look. We'll take care of this."

She wailed and threw herself at her oldest son. Uncle Carlos slid his hat off his head and stared solemnly at Blane's body.

"Yes, to protect the Risky name, you must bury him. Find a place in the woods, Mattias." He turned and grabbed his wife, pulling her off Fabian. "Come on, Monica."

Fabian waved to everyone. "I'll be back in a bit." He left, and I was helped up by both of my men, each taking an arm.

"We're going to take her back to the cabin. She doesn't need to see this," Swayze said.

"Wait, I can't carry him," Mattias protested. "Swayze, come on man, stay."

"Fuck you. I can't handle another Ruth situation." He shook his head.

"Fine, Koi. Whatever, we need someone strong. You two go, stay safe, don't talk to anyone."

"At this rate, we're all going to be rich," Andrew muttered. When we looked at him, he continued, "Because of all this hush money."

"If we don't take this seriously, there's not going to be any hush money because we'll all be dead!" Mitchell cried out. "Come on! Why aren't we talking about the note?"

"Mitch…” Mattias went to his boyfriend and hugged him tightly. He whispered something into his curls, trying to calm him down. Swayze pressed on my back.

"Let's go."

We reached the cabin and instead of Georgie's evening walk, he had to settle for using the grass behind the cabin.

"It's too unsafe to be in those woods right now," Swayze apologized. I knew this and understood, but I still hated it. I felt trapped. It was early evening, but I didn't want to do anythingother than sleep. After Georgie came back in, I tugged on my pajamas and crawled into my bed. Swayze followed, pulling me into his warm, strong arms.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked.

I inhaled, my breathing unstable.

"Why is this happening?"

"I don't know. We don't know who is doing it, but I'm not going to let them touch you. Koi and I are going to protect you."

He peppered kisses on my salty cheeks and slowly moved down, kissing my neck and shoulders. His hand went to my breasts, and I stiffened. I spun around in his arms and glared.

"You're kidding."

"What? Koi's not here. I rarely get to be alone with you." He kissed me, but when he tried to deepen it, I pulled back.

"This feels wrong. I just... I just want to cry while you hold me. Is that okay?"

"Of course it is. Come here."

I turned around and he wrapped me in his arms again. "Sometimes I forget that we're not just hooking up. I kind of like this." He nuzzled his face in my hair. "I kind of love this. I think I'm in love, Domino."

I froze. "What?"

"Is that bad? Is it too soon? I've never said that before. Fuck, I'm sorry. I'm bad at this. Ignore it. I take it back."

"You don't love me?" I sat up and stared at him.

He brushed his hair back."I mean, I think… I don't know. It feels like it. I think if I'm ever going to be in love, this is it. I'm kind of obsessed with you."

"Obsessed?" Swayze was in love with me? Handsome bad boy, Dennis Swayze? The boy I'd crushed on so hard when I was a pre-teen. If I was told that we'd be sharing a bed, that I was having sex with him, I'd have laughed.
