“Come on, you don’t have to be shy around me, Eisley. You act like I haven’t seen you at your worst. I’m not a stranger.” His expression darkened.I relaxed my arm and allowed him inside.I went to my closet and pulled out a dress, then to my dresser and snagged my underwear, a bra, and a pair of black lace tights.I turned nervously to the bed, where Constantine lay with his hands behind his head, grinning at me.

I rolled my eyes and turned away. The most he would get was my behind.

“What are you doing today?” I asked him as we went down the stairs together. I took him to the kitchen, where I began a pot of tea.

“Hopefully you again, if I can.”

I glared at him, and he laughed.

“You don’t have a job?”

“I do,” he said cryptically. “I make my own hours.”

I wanted to ask more, but he didn’t seem to want to discuss it further.

“I want to spend some time with you before I go and do a little work. Do you want to do something?”

I tried to think. “I have a scheduled live today, but after that, my day is free.”

“Are you kicking me out now?” He cocked an amused eyebrow.

“No!” I blushed. “I just didn’t think you’d want to… you want to join me on screen?” I grinned.

“Sure. Sounds like fun.”

I watched him in utter awe. He was so aloof, so unlike the man in my bed last night. My stomach fluttered again as I thought about it. I liked both sides of him.

I went and got my materials from my extra fridge and various shelves and pushed play with Constantine standing beside me. My heart was beating rapidly as my followers began to log on. I’d never had a guest in my kitchen before. How would my community take it?

I pressed my lips together tightly and waited. The comments began flooding in. Confusion, excitement, hearts, stars, and lots of gifting were going on. They liked him. Constantine snaked his arm around my waist and suddenly I felt more confident.

“Hi witches, I see we’ve got a lot of questions in the chat. That’s great! So, before we dive into another project, I want to introduce you to…” I turned and smiled up at him. I wasn’t sure how to introduce him.

He leaned across the counter to put his face right into the camera. “I’m Constantine, her husband.”

My heart beat furiously. Husband? How would my following take that? Would showing my personal life cause them to stop supporting me and my income to tank? They wouldn’t understand. I didn’t understand. The entire wedding ceremony under the Minister’s reign was nonsense! Right?

With his announcement, the comments and gifts began pouring in. Most were positive.

Instantly, I relaxed and reached for my vase. “Today, I’m going to teach Constantine how to make a spooky season wedding bouquet.”

It was a blast working with him. He interacted with the viewers and cracked jokes with me. We laughed and flirted while we made an orange and black bouquet, showing and teaching my loyal fanbase how to do it themselves.A big gift came through, and I explained to Constantine they get one question.

“What’s up,” my smile faltered at the username and I gulped, as my stomach tightened. “Ministerinthemaking?”

What would be your perfect bouquet?

Relief rushed through me, and I brought my cheerful mask back to the surface.I tapped my chin and scrunched up my nose, pretending to think long and hard about it.I couldn’t let them see how badly I’d been startled.

“So, as a rule, I don’t keep fake flowers here, so I think I’ll have to go to the store to do another video, but off the top of my head, clematis, some dyed roses, ooh, and delphinium.” I nodded, picturing it in my head. “And I’d accent it with blue senecio and solidago. Those would be fake, of course, but a little bit is okay.”I turned to Constantine. “What about you? Do you have flowers you like?”

He shrugged and shook his head. “Roses? I guess, I don’t know. No, not really.”

“Oh! Remind me to take you to go see my bat flower.” I turned to the camera. “I think we’ll be taking a field trip soon. That will be my next scheduled live. Okay, we’ve got to go.” I smiled back at Constantine, who waved at them. “See you later, witches.” I blew a kiss to the camera and shut it off.
