He had them pre-saved already.

Then, while Grey dealt with whatever he needed to, I talked to Merlin, Tempie, and Khal.

And come to find out... Khal and I... we knew what it was like to be born into a family that expected you to be something you weren’t.

I winked, then teased, “What’s shakin’ big bro?”

He snickered, “Nothin’ much lil sis.”

That was when I saw someone moving through the crowd in my direction.

I knew that pale blonde hair, because I shared it with her.

Kourt finally cleared the last man who was between her and me.

And when I got a good look at her face, I sighed.

I whispered, “Almost drenched.”

He growled and then pinched my ass cheek.

Kourt looked up at Grey, then she tossed her hair over her shoulder, “Nuke is going to make me his ole lady. So that means I trump everyone.”

“Come again?” we all heard.

Kourt’s face went pale.

Nuke stalked forward and then got right in her space, and in a tone, even I shivered from, and took a step back into Grey’s embrace. He growled, “Wanna repeat that shit?”

“Umm.” Kourt stammered, then looked around her.

“You're done. Pack your shit, and get the fuck out,” Nuke growled.

Then he called out, “Wolf? Jury? Hamm?”

They all stalked over, and when Nuke asked them to make sure Kourt packed her shit and left the property, the three of them smirked.

She tried to stomp her foot.
