I got it; therefore, I nodded.

After we mounted the bike, he took me to my house so I could change clothes.

I had wanted to wear a skirt today, and Grey hadn’t cared, just told me that we weren’t going far and to wear whatever the hell I wanted.

Once I was dressed, he tossed one of my overnight bags over his shoulder.

“What’s that?” I asked.

He winked. “A few things for our house that are yours.”

I lifted a brow, he kissed said brow, took my hand, and led me to his bike.

I climbed off the bike and took off my own helmet, yes, my own helmet, it was black with orange accents, and it was cute.

I handed it to him and used my fingers to comb through my hair.

Once I was done, he took my hand and led me into the strip club.

Music blared the moment he opened the door for me, after he jerked up his chin at the man who was on the door, and told him that I was allowed in and given protection.

I warmed all over.

The strip club, Bliss, was done tastefully.

Soft tones of gold, black, and silver.

The couches appeared to be black velvet with tables in front of them with gold appliques.

A few poles were scattered throughout the room, but it didn’t look overwhelming.

A stage ran along the back wall and then curved out in both directions.

But the neat thing was that the bar seemed to curve with the stage and was elevated, so you didn’t have to see a bartender make your drink while you watched the stage.

Two other bars were stationed just the same as well.

I frowned.

Weren’t strip clubs supposed to be, you know... dingy?

Seeing the look on my face, he grinned, “Tempie designed it.”

“Tempie?” I asked with a lifted brow.

“Merlin’s wife. I gotta introduce you to all the brothers and the women later.”

I nodded.

Moments later, after he led me through the club, and no, not once did he look at the dancers who were topless and dancing or twisting on the poles or on the stage.

I smiled... and then... when he sat down behind the desk and picked up a pair of black glasses and put them on. Oh. My. Stars.

He looked up at me and smirked, “Glasses do it for you, huh?”

“Never have before... but on you.” I teased.
