“Who the fuck was it?” I asked as I stared at the heart monitors they had on both Kimber and our baby.

Nuke growled, “Something that I still can’t believe. Merlin found the shit. Grimm got the truth out of him. We’re waiting for the both of you to walk out of here to see how you want to play this.”

We were released thirty-six hours later.

“Normally, I’d say we’d take care of this shit. But this is in our backyard. We don’t need the feds on our asses.” I said as I looked at my brothers around the table.

“Call Asher. Think he owes us a marker.” I said.

Nuke nodded, then placed the call.

Fourteen hours later, we had a plan.

And in three hours, that fucking asshole was out of Louisiana.

His great aunt twice removed needed his help since her health was declining.
