“Tiffany is staying with her friend,” Katie offered, giving me a side eye.
“You’re alone tonight?”
“I am.”
The look she gave me while licking her lips had my dick pushing against my jeans even more and I knew this night was going to end a whole lot differently than I had planned.
Chapter 9
Katie
“Are you sure about this?” he breathed against my lips, making me melt. We had spent the last fifteen minutes against the side of the building making out and hell was I a needy little thing right now.
Did I want to go back to his place because it was closer?
Hell yes.
Okay, I was going to say that all the fighting was intense foreplay that was leading up to this. Not that I meant to, but there was no denying that there was attraction and chemistry between us.
“Yes, I’m sure,” I told him, taking the hat that I was holding so I could run my fingers through his hair and putting it on my head.
“Hey now, cowgirl, you know what they say about that, right?” he asked, pointing at the black hat.
“What?”
“A lady wears it; she belongs to the guy.”
“Sounds good to me,” I told him, standing on my toes and giving him one last lingering kiss. “Let’s head to your place.”
The dance was done for the last ten minutes. I did what I needed to do and would be posting and blogging about it tomorrow, but right now, I just wanted to be in his arms, feeling things that only this young man could make me feel.
“Yes ma’am,” he said, taking my hand and leading me to my car. “Just follow me.”
The good thing about the ranch is that he wasn’t too far away.
I jumped in my car and followed him for seven minutes to his little place and parked next to him, surprised to be feeling like a schoolgirl as if this was her first time.
But then again, no one made me feel like he did.
He helped me out of the car and into his place, taking off his vest and shirt, both of which had been soaked by the punch bowl being knocked over when he was trying to break up a fight.
My mouth watered as he stood before me, half naked, and I had to clench my thighs together.
“Question,” he said, crossing his arms and I had to blink to focus on what he was saying.
“Yes?”
“Why did you move away and why the random pick?”
“I needed a change of pace and different scenery,” I told him, trying my best to keep my eyes on his face and not his chest.
“So, you threw some cities in a hat, had your kid draw a location, and off you went?”
“Sounds about right,” I answered.
“Well, is the scenery to your liking?”
Holy crap was it!
