Time to come clean, Maverick decided.
About all of it.
“I think so,” he admitted, catching Grayson’s look of surprise. “We spent most of the summer between our junior and senior year at Hideaway. Every single weekday at lunchtime, for two months.”
Jace grinned. “Ah. Hookup central.”
The three of them chuckled.
“Yeah, apparently. I knew Levi and Sam went there with girls from time to time, but I didn’t realize you younger guys were keeping that tradition alive,” Maverick replied.
“Well, I don’t like to kiss and tell,” Jace joked, before sobering up. “What happened with Ella?”
“We were each other’s firsts, so needless to say, once we started having sex…”
“You fucked like bunnies,” Jace helpfully supplied. “There are no hormones like teen hormones.”
Maverick nodded. “We were insatiable. At first, it was just what you’d imagine, lots of exploration, learning about our sexuality with each other.”
He hesitated again.
Grayson, the astute bastard, seemed to understand why. “Seems to me you brushed over some details the last time you and I talked. Give us the rest.”
“Our time in the cabin revealed me as the…dominant one in our bedroom play.”
Both of his brothers nodded, like that made perfect sense, which confirmed some suspicions Maverick had about his brothers and their own sexual proclivities.
Grayson rested his elbows on the table. “Okay,” he said, his tone decidedly neutral.
“It was mid-August, and we were about two weeks away from school starting back up. Of course, we were both sort ofstressed out about that, because it meant only seeing each other during school hours, since her dad wouldn’t let her date until she was eighteen,” Maverick explained. “I’d overheard Sam and Levi talking one day, a few months before Ella and I started having sex. They were standing in the shade of the warehouse, taking a break from work. I was just inside, but they didn’t know it. Otherwise, I’m not sure they would have been quite so forthcoming with their hookup details.”
At the time, Maverick’s older brothers had been twenty-one and twenty-two, respectively, which meant they were both legal drinking age and taking full advantage. “They’d been going to that bar over in Henley Falls and apparently getting lucky with the ladies. Levi confessed to Sam that he’d tied up one of his lovers in bed, said it had been an eye-opening experience for both of them. Neither Jace nor Grayson laughed.

Grayson was very closemouthed about his sex life, which tracked as far as Maverick was concerned. His brother was a private guy, so hearing him lump himself in with Sam and Levi was interesting.
When Jace nodded in agreement, Maverick felt better about opening up to his brothers, because he knew they’d understand.
“I mentioned what Levi and Sam had said to Ella one day, just to sort of feel her out, and she seemed really interested. The last day we were together, we…we decided to do some experimenting. We’d gotten to a point where we were comfortable enough—and still horny enough—that we decided to explore some of our fantasies.”
Grayson rubbed his jaw. “Like?”
