“Hmm…” he hummed.“Well, I can, but you see, being Suman, you never massaged me, so it’s complimentary from me. And don’t forget I can ask for anything in return for the valuable services I’m providing,”
I chuckled.
“Of course, why not?” I said, shaking my head.“By the way, what exactly are you thinking of asking in return?”
“You’ll know,” he said, gliding his palm down, his fingers brushing the sides of my frame. The tips of his fingers grazed my breasts, and his thumb traced a straight line down the middle of my back. It felt as though he was lifting a great burden off me. He was incredibly good at it.
“But be ready for it,” he added, making me shiver.
I nipped my lower lip.
“It definitely has something to do with our wedding night,” I muttered.“You’d either ask me to suck or to do something even dirtier.”
He chuckled, grabbing the small of my waist firmly.
“But, for that, I don’t have to put so much effort now, do I? I can simply ask for it,” he replied confidently, getting off me.
I looked over my shoulder as he sat beside me on his knees.
Inhaling deeply, I slowly turned onto my back, pulling the dupatta along to cover my chest, where my blouse hung loose.
“And who told you that I will agree just because you ask?” I asked teasingly.
He gulped as his gaze lingered on my face before drifting down to my chest.
“Then, I’ll simply beg,” he muttered, tone low.
His fingers brushed my midriff as he slowly pushed the dupatta aside. My heart pounded; I blinked nervously when he pulled it off completely.
“Kunwar-sa,” my breath hitched.
He placed his fingers on my collarbones and gently skimmed them down, pulling the hem of my blouse along with them.
“Hmm…” he hummed, and I felt the shoulders of my blouse slip away.
“Kal humein haldi lag jaayegi,”“Tomorrow my haldi will begin.” I whispered shakily.
He nodded lightly.“So?”
His kohl-lined eyes and his lips glistened under the lamplight. The room was mostly dark, but the small lamp on the side table cast large shadows across the drawn curtains surrounding the bed.
“So, you can see these marks on our wedding night too,” I said softly.
He stopped and looked into my eyes.“Is that a no?”
My brows creased in confusion. Honestly, I didn’t know if it was a no or a yes.
I stared blankly into his eyes and sucked on my lip.
“I don’t know,” I mumbled.“I mean, this is a different kingdom. The wedding rituals are sacred. I don’t want anything to go wrong at our wedding. I mean, if something is forbidden, then we shouldn’t do it.”
He looked away for a moment, then nodded with a grin.
“Alright, alright, alright, then what else should this attendant of yours do?” he asked as he covered me with the comforter.
I didn’t tie the strings of my blouse. My skin throbbed from the tightness, and I was too lazy to get away from him to change.
“Umm… since I’m going to sleep, you can come sleep with me,” I suggested.“After all, from tomorrow onwards, you’ll not be able to see me.”
