“Travis, wake up. I can hear voices.”

“Finn?” he mumbled into the pillow, swatting my hand away.

“Finn talking to himself?”

He huffed out a laugh. “Probably. Who else would it be? We’re in the middle of the ocean.”

I knew he was right, but something didn’t feel right, so I listened harder. There was silence, so I presumed he was right, and I’d been dreaming. Closing my eyes, I waited for Finn to come back. I was exhausted, last night’s escapades having left me rung out in the best possible way. I smiled to myself as I thought about how good it felt to be bound like I was or to have them both fucking me. A chuckle slipped from my lips. A few weeks ago, I was living in the closet with no idea about my sexuality, and now, I was here, with two boyfriends and a desire to be dominated. My cock twitched to life, but it was way too early and I was way too tired to even go there.

Instead, I gave Travis a quick kiss on the cheek and pulled his arm so it sat over my waist, and he took the hint and pulled me into his side.

“I meant what I said last night,” he muttered, his eyes still closed. “I love you.”

“Still?” I questioned because the last time he’d uttered those words, he’d declared that his feelings were well and truly in the past.

“Always. Never stopped. It’s always been you, Jas. And now our Twinkle.”

Warmth flooded my body. “You think we can make this work? The three of us.”

“How can we not? We’re perfect together.” He gripped my hip a little tighter. “And I don’t think Twinkle will let us go anywhere.”

“He hates that name, you know?”

He tutted. “No, he doesn’t. He loves it because I named him it, but if anyone else calls him it, I’ll beat them to a pulp for him.”

I chuckled. “Our hero.”

He opened his eyes, taking me in lazily as his fingers trailed along my jaw and down my neck. “I mean it, Jas. I love you. Both of you, and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect you.”

He brought his lips to mine, offering me a slow, deep kiss that had his emotions settling into my bones in a way that let me feel just how much he’d meant those words.

The bedroom door opened and while we continued to make out, I waited to hear Finn’s familiar voice demanding he be included in our little moment, but instead, there was only a click before an unfamiliar voice grunted, “Sorry to interrupt this little moment, but get your fucking hands above your heads where I can see them.”

TRAVIS

My head snappedto where the voice had come from to find two masked men standing in the doorway. Heart racing, my legs kicked out as I forced myself to sit up, my arm instantly going out in front of Jasper, who was also now sitting up beside me.

“Who the fuck are you?” I barked.

The man with the gun shrugged, glancing to his friend before looking back at us. “Pirates.” I wondered if this was a terrible practical joke because none of this felt real. Would pirates even announce that that’s what they were?

I frowned. “Pirates?” Pirate attacks were practically unheard of out here on a vessel this size. “I didn’t think there was that much need for deep-sea robots on the black market.” My voice was heavy with sarcasm as anger boiled inside me.How dare they do this?“What can I say? We heard there was a bounty worth travelling for, so here we are.”

“No way. You’re not touching a thing on here.”

“Travis,” Jasper hissed. “Just do what they want. It’s just stuff.”

“Expensive stuff. State-of-the-art, apparently,” the unarmed man added.

“Listen to your boyfriend. Just do as we say, and no one else needs to be hurt.”

I froze, fear cutting off the air supply to my lungs. “Finn,” I whispered, his name slicing my throat like a knife.

“Shame about him. He was pretty.” He twitched his gun to the side. “Get up and don’t try to be heroes.”

I looked to Jasper, his now pale face glowing in what appeared to be torchlight coming from the hall. “Get up, Jas.”

He moved slowly, climbing out of bed as I did the same on the other side, glad that we’d slept in pyjamas and t-shirts last night.
