I'm in heaven.

Everything about Reena is perfection. Her small, sweet gasps of pleasure when I feasted on her were my guide to learning what felt good for her. And I'm determined to hear those sounds from her every single day for the rest of my life if she'll let me.

With each stroke, pleasure builds at the base of my spine, coiling tighter and tighter. Feeling her stretched heat clenching around me, I almost surrender to the urge to release, but she cries out my name, and I know she's close again.

Determination to drive her over the edge gives me a brutal focus and hitch her legs high around my hips as I drive in deep. I bury myself inside her over and over, watching her eyes flutter closed.

"Eyes on me, love." Her gaze locks with mine, her pupils blown, and I see my feelings reflected there. I circle my thumb over her sensitive clit, adding that small bit of pressure, and she fractures with a scream.

I don't hold back any longer, hitting the end of her with every stroke, and then I follow her over the cliff, waves of pleasure overwhelming me as I fill her with my release.

Cradling her close, I roll to the side, pulling her with me so she can rest her head on my chest. We're still connected in the most intimate way, and I'm struck by how different my life has become in such a short period of time. The loneliness of before has washed away and for the first time since I made this cabin my home, I believe there's a future here.

Because of Reena.

She sighs against my chest, a happy, relaxed sound, and it makes me smile.

"I love you, sweetheart. I'm happy to do this every day for the rest of our lives if you want."

Her finger traces a pattern on my chest. Having her in my arms, I can already feel myself getting hard again, and if she keeps that up, I might just sit her up and have her ride me until we're both screaming in pleasure again.

"Careful there, or we'll be right back where we started."

Her lips seal around my nipple, sucking on the tip, and I buck up, instantly hard once more, and her laugh makes me growl.

Because who am I to deny this woman anything she wants.

Especially if what she wants is me.

3 MONTHS LATER

REENA

I make my way inside the care facility, waving to Gloria as I walk by.

"Here for another art class?"

She nods. "Soon enough, we'll have some of these masterpieces on display in the gallery. Or even up for purchase at the resort's art festival."

Porter does a lot of lumberjack work at the resort and because of him, I've become part of their planning team. They have events throughout the year, and with them as a client, I was able to reduce my work for other groups and focus more on things that will bring more tourism to town.

Dr. Nance appears, a wide smile on her face. "It's been a good day for your uncle, Reena. Come on back."

"That's good to hear. I'm glad he's better. Yesterday was a little rough."

We walk together, and she puts a comforting hand on my shoulder. "This is part of the process. There will be good days and bad days. Savor the good ones. And on the bad, remember that you're not alone."

She waves her card over the panel, and the door lock releases. We enter and I stumble to a stop at the scene in front of me. Flowers fill the central room and all the staff I've come to know are gathered in a circle. Even some of the residents are seated, smiles on their faces as music plays in the background. I've gotten to know all these people through my visits and much like Uncle Cliff, they have their own good and bad days.

Today looks like it's going to be a good day.

Porter walks out of the hallway, my uncle next to him, and happiness settles inside me. There's recognition in his gaze. That alone is enough to make me smile, but seeing him with Porter, the friendship that has happened between them, it makes all of this even better.

Because even on my bad days, my uncle recognizes that Porter is someone he trusts. He may not know his name, or remember how they met, but he's comfortable with him. It means a lot that, no matter what, I know my Uncle has the two of us to stand with him.

"Is there a party I didn't know about?" I cast around for clues and then grab Dr. Nance’s hand. "Whose birthday is it? I don't have anything with me."
