“Wes,” she gasped, as an orgasm shot through her.
“That’s it, come for me, Peaches,” I murmured. Finishing, I got up and pulled her to me, so we cuddled in my chair. That was all I had time for right now.
“I like seeing you on your knees.” She kissed me.
“I’ll get on my knees for you anytime.” My arms tightened around her. “Do you feel better?”
“I do. I don’t suppose I can have your dick?” She batted her eyelashes at me.
“I wish. Tonight, after your date with Evan.” An alarm went off on my computer. “You should probably put on your pants. I have a meeting in five minutes.”
Standing, she pulled on her pants and panties. “Thank you for taking time out of your busy day for me.”
“What’s the point of working with your mate if you can’t have her in your office once in a while?” I gave her a kiss, and she left, our bond feeling much calmer. Yeah, a mid-day orgasm would do that.
My dick strained against my pants. There was nothing I could do about that. Though I’d much rather fuck her than go to a meeting.
I eyed the treat on my desk. Well, at least I had a cake pop.
Chapter Thirty-Eight
Evan
Iparked in the garage under Compass BioTek and made my way into the lobby. Unlike Riley, I didn’t have a badge, but I was on thealways allowedguest list.
Grabbing a pass from the front desk, I took the elevators up to Spencer’s office. I also texted Grace.
Me
I’m visiting Spence. Come up when you’re ready.
“Evan, Dear. He’s free. Is he expecting you?” Mrs. Katsopolis beamed.
“I just thought I’d pop in while waiting for Grace. We’re going on a date.” I figured she’d need it after seeing the professor today.
She smiled at me over her computer. “How fun. Go right in.”
I walked into Spencer’s office, and he looked up from his laptop.
“Evan! Wes is in a meeting. Do you want me to walk you over to Grace?” He smiled. Spencer was wearing his glasses, something he’d been doing a lot more lately.
Probably because Grace thought they were sexy.
“I came to see you.” I gave him a hug. “We don’t seem to hang out much nowadays, so I thought I’d stop by until Grace is ready.”
The last thing I wanted was for him to think our friendship wasn’t important anymore.
He hugged me back. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to neglect you by mating Grace.”
Laughing, I sat down in the chair on the other side of his desk. “I thinkIneglected you by mating Grace. You can come with us, if you want, it just won’t be fun for you.”
“I appreciate it. But I have a meeting tonight.”
“Is everything going okay with the party? Grace just shrugs and tells me it’s all handled,” I asked.
Spencer nodded. “The planner you recommended is excellent and has it under control. Even Mrs. K is impressed. Everything is set, people have responded. At some point we will need to go through those unsolicited gifts. Work went all right? You seem down. Is it Rose?”
“Rose is great. She has a campus job, is taking summer classes, and is doing a course at the Omega Center to learn how to sell the bracelets she makes online.” I sighed. “It was a roughday, but it was just more of the usual. I love this job, but sometimes…”
