“How is the rental for Chota Shimla office coming about?”
“Advocate Ranawat will send the agreement back tomorrow. We can sign and begin renovations then.”
“You oversee the renovations, these Interiors will rip us off otherwise. That’s going to be our big office, where we will entertain dignitaries. It needs to be grand but not suck grand money.”
“Yes, sir.” Gauri chuckled.
“I will be in Srinagar all of this week, is there anything that needs my attention here?”
“The leases for our three guest houses need to be signed.”
“Are the agreements here?”
She shook her head — “Still with Advocate Ranawat.”
“How much are we paying him for retainer?” Samar got to his feet, scooping up his diary and backpack. This was his home — two pairs of change of clothes, medicines, because he was still not off some of them, and his diary.
“I have also been having issues with their working style. Reviews never come in on time.”
“Change them, then.” Samar stuffed his diary inside his bag and slung it over his shoulder. “Find a better firm.”
“Yes, sir.”
“I am out of here, Gauri. You are in charge.”
He was about to leave his office when his mobile pinged. Samar opened the message notification and their KDP founder’s group chat was exploding with PDFs and links. Was it getting hacked?
